That's far less likely but not implausible to cause an infection. That was a problem 10 to 20 years ago before the internet got so big
Making a mistake with the wrong password or signing up to the wrong site will do far worse than a usb

Lynix, that is easy to do. When you plugged in the USB. someone already placed a malware, or a command to "Open LAN" in that minecraft map folder (Usually ZIP). Basically forcing you to Open LAN with certain command.
and when opened up, it basically spread out to all your important files (or .minecraft folder)
And how the hacker did a multiple Odin account stuff? TLauncher. Those account have no skins, basically that is why
they appear so much in a sec. Give you blindness, and weird camera force thing.
i dont know, but its huge effort for hacker itself lol. The Text thing on screen its an actual hacking process (or i thought so)
best way to do is play Minecraft in Safe Mode when starting up a computer/laptop, basically what it does is disconnecting your internet and other stuff i dont know
safe way to do is, open up Computer/Laptop in Safemode. Open up the ZIP then, only take the Minecraft map. that way, it'll be more safer to do when reviewing Minecraft map with random USB's. If still not work, then the Hacker might know you a long time ago.

lan is local access network , the only way know how to access a LAN is by being connected to the same wifi. as far as i know the obly two options is for odin to either be connected to lynix's wifi or for the world to have been a server discuised as singlerplayer

Any USB's you get that don't come from the mail, just burn it. Don't even put it in anything you owed.
Technically you can do that without subjecting yourself to danger but you'd need A LOT more security measures than just using a laptop you don't need to do that safely

I mean, free usbs since they can be expensive really especially the ones that are over 100 GB, but you shouldn't trust every USB that you're given, especially ones that are legit left at your doorstep. Your wifi is like a connect point to all of the connected devices, so if someone hacks into it, they can access your PC iirc + they get your IP
