I think my personal favorite example of things like this with the shrine is that Merlin can clear it in 1 auto with Poly. His passive and poly both affect the chalices which leads to all 3 hits happening at once.

If I find myself wanting attack speed I usually build exe or quins or throw an early game Ichiaval in. Your point on it not being worth it due to the potential loss in power is the sole reason why I don't run it since there is usually a power deficit in solo builds.

At level 1, when you finish doing your buff you can hit the golden shrine once which allows you to keeps your bludgeon when rotating to the back camp.
