Hello from Germany! I'm 60 years old now, and I've been there every year! It gets harder every year, but it's a nice weekend, always like a vacation for me! When I die, I cannot take any material things with me, but I hope to be able to take what I experienced with me! These shows are so overwhelming it brings tears to my eyes and I can't help it! You definitely have to visit this festival, and feel the bass, which is like a punch in the stomach every time! You can't explain what it's like there, you have to experience it! You have to get tickets early because it sells out very quickly! I like your channel, keep it up! Greetings Nephilim

Trance & Hardstyle FOREVER
If you like the end shows, you will definitely love the Power Hour shows.
It's an hour of total chaos. smoke, fire, fireworks, confetti, any kind of prop you can think of. helicopters, dancers, multiple artists. and all in a way that builds up to an epic finally.
It's of course all hardstyle, hardcore and Frenchcore, but it's a lot of recognizable remixes and edits. from both 70's 80's 90's hits, to rock, pop, metal and classical songs transformed into hard power music, that brings an experience no other event can compare to.
Makes a rock concert look like a backyard party.
I've been to many European and mainly Dutch hardstyle festivals and Defqon 1 and Decibel Outdoor are top of the list for me. At heart since childhood I've always been a metalhead but there's something about these events that just gets the primal juices flowing. The music, vibes, people and atmosphere is unlike anything you'll get anywhere else.

The Music, the lighting and the pyrotechnics... I mean kudos to those that had to time everything to perfection. 🎵
During the covid lockdown they had an indoor show where they made smoke look like fireworks.
Unfortunately they've made the videos of it only available for premium members on their site. And no one has uploaded them to tt 🤣
You definitely need to do more Q-dance reactions!!!!! They have so many amazing end shows to watch!! Loved this
I think if they plan to do more Q-dance, Qlimax is the best choice. So they can enjoy indoor too

I was in the crowd, the emotions, atmosphere and pure music you feel in your body is incredible. would advise anyone to experience this. 2022 was awesome and so was 2019
Best place for me to see the endshows is on the hills on the left and right, somewhat in the back, watching over the crowd and seeing the show in all its glory.
i was there and tbh, theres no words to describe how insane DEFQON rly is.

If you work hard, you gotta party hard! Being a metal head, I have never been on defcon but I would absolutely visit this festival, if I could.

if i recall i counted 24 speakers on each pole you see in the middle. and there are 6 poles i the middle. but there are more on the sides and on the stage itself. I couldn't count those they're where to many🤣. and I don't know how many subs there are. I do know that you feel the bass in every part of your body
I was there and it was absolutely incredible. I'm also going this year. Will also visit decibel first time. Netherlands have the best festivals and the people there are really friendly too. Always feels like coming home. Hardstyle for life! 🧡🧡🧡
There is another hardstyle festival in the Netherlands called intents festival that also has an amazing stage and a big endshow like this, and they have a series called "Steps before the game" where they show how they plan and make everything like the stage and the endshow. the episode for how they make the endshow is called "Steps Before the Game Aflevering 6 - The Intents Festival Endshows" and it has english subtitles.

the best position/experience is in the middle of the croud and making Party with the best Community in the World. Laser, Fire, Lights are all around you and burning your mind. To see the full artwork watch the aftermovie and then you have the complete experience.
It makes sense to stand a little further back because there are usually hidden boxes. Of course you have the best bass and volume at the front, but don't forget that you're in Holland... The last time I stood at the front, which I will never do again, I had a sudden hearing loss and tinnitus for two weeks which I had to treat at an ear specialist. Since then I've had a 20% hearing loss and can no longer hear some frequencies. So standing further back makes a lot of sense to see everything and you won't miss anything in terms of sound!!!

there are like 80k people holdingh their breath and you only see like 20-30 phone screens in the entire audience, thats what hardstyle is about :D
I was there. I didn’t go Sunday. I went Saturday. I was in the back, like 20 meters from FOH, just beside the last left speaker array. I could see everything and imma tell you, the sound there is HUGE. It shakes your bones.
As someone who was there in the crown i gotta tell you, it felt like nothing else.

This was the 1st defqon I attended I was absolutely blown away the feeling you get is so overwhelming your whole body shudders from the bass it’s insane went again this yr and already booked and payed for next yr flights and hotels all booked and payed for roll on 27th of June 2024 🧡🔥🧡🔥
When I heard the song from Tony salmonelli in 1993 that did the first version of this tune what I know of. I loved it. Iove that it still lives on.

I have been there this year, 2023 and spent 4 days at this insane festival... I turned 40 this year, the festival is existing for 20 years now... and it was my first time I could be there for real and see this all live... if you like the harder styles, you gotta be there... and if you can, please react to this years endshow and closing ceremony... (so much to say I watched both for real and after that at home over and over and still getting goosebumps within the blink of an eye)
and yes, feeling the bass was insane... just get good high quality earplugs and then you still can hear every detail
this year I was always close enough to the front on one of the two sides (for the endshow on the right hill behind the bars in front of the cabanas and for the closing ceremony in the left in front of the cabana where Q-dance had their live studio setup) and being able to see a lot but still be within the action... priceless

I had both Defqon and Tomorrowland on my bucketlist for quiet some time. Im glad i cross both meanwhile and attended both more then once. Worth EVERY SINGLE cent im spending on the weekends.🥰Oh and btw. being further back is the way to go. You are not getting those heasy bass punche at your stomach.🤣 But oh boy the view is much more impressive!😋

Just think about the fact that there is almost 220 000 Peoples in this show

I think there are no screens because it is only about what happens on stage and it is filmed in all different camera angles for a special video for TH-cam and other channels and the screens bring too many distractions during those videos but also during the show and a lot is already happening with lasers and fireworks otherwise it would all be way too many different things and by the way they never do that here in the Netherlands at a concert or festival with extra screens showing the stage and the artist and I I also think that is why the best shows are in the Netherlands because you really have to be there yourself for the experience and we go one step further in the Netherlands with everything, the light shows here are the best in the world and the music and fireworks are also with the artist together and the pyro people adapted to the music and that makes the Netherlands and these festivals so special. In the world, no other festival is as specifically tailored to everything as these music festivals.
i think, as a defqon1 ganger, you should check out a few power hours. It is actually a mash of all music genres and if you are small, like me, an extra experience, because it is very very busy!

Hello from the Netherlands. where this festival is hold , i want 2 answer some off youre questions . the festifavl is 4 days from thursday till sunday . there is a camp site with for 4 dfays up untill i thaught 45.000 till 50.000 people overall its between 70.000 and 80.000 each day apart from thusrday . the end show on saterday or sunday there are more than 60.000 people watching that on the main stage .and yes like u said u can best watch it further back ,for the lights the firework basicly the whole show for the sound it doesnt matter the bass u WILL feel it in ur stumac 🤣 . the 2023 ones are out on youtube i will be glad to see them when u watch them . maybe we see each other on the festival as i already got tickets for 2024 .oki have fun watching the others 🤪

I go almost every year with my best friend on sunday, on mainstage we mostly stand middle, i done front once myself tho moved to the middle after 2 hours when my ears started to hurt (with ear protection in).

There are no screens becouse that wpuld fuck up the whole vibe. Nobody rraly cares about seeing a dj or artist. It's about the music not the person
And no worry, where ever you stand you van feel the bass
I alway stand around the left side by the frist speaker tower in the crowd. Great view, still standing "in" the show and strangly always space there to dance(further back is no space to move)
