I have listened to so much of prison and crime stories and I have been watching your channel for a while but this guy has given a new understanding of crime & prison life. Really wish I could get this guy to speak to some schools in Soweto and youth centers
what we need is film making dedicated to subverting how prisons are designed to create only worst human beings, listen to this guy you can hear he remembers who and why he is, he also understands how a criminal record has created an uncleanable slate in his life, this guy can talk, he can teach, he can tech about the triumph of the human will, even him personally there is nothing he cannot accomplish

You know out of the many videos Ive watched and enjoyed very much on this channel the thing most constant as to how these brothers find themselves in crime is the broken family. We need to do better this isn't to say we should stay in failed or failing marriages, better parenting, better community building I think we can save a lot of lives this way
Lol this guy just made it worse for me now I am really scared of prison 😭😭😭😭 you can see his expression 😭😭. He can be a good actor though because everything he says starts inside, he can make you feel what he’s saying.
Thanks man but the guy must try to finish his story, because how he get to jail we don't know, he was age 9 when he started doing crime jiki jiki he is in prison, jiki jiki umkhulu, jiki jiki, crime doesn't pay(good advice) jiki jiki, attempted rape jiki jiki, blanket and the beating then boom thanksgiving to the guy who came for his rescue and taught him a number.
have you done nyaope addicts before? I'm sure they have interesting information on the intoxication and the real street life. as well as tricky ways they've made money or being victims of mob justice.
Please name your videos in a specific order. It's really hard to follow one person's story. I end starting with the last video I should have ended with. Otherwise, good content
Prison is fvck'd up because trauma doesn't have to be accumuleted in first hand occurrences but could be something one withness remotely. If one isn't spiritually strong, mentally or heart strong your soul might just want to escape from your body while your body draws breath perfectly fine. I thank Unc for giving us a tour in prison with his words. He tells you that even the badass criminals aren't bad*ss once they get there, your freedom isn't just taken by the walls but the prison community rule by the laws guarded by evil deeds. "Bad to worst" that's his words for prison.
He was also talking about the role he was given within the numbers gang and how the numbers gang operate with each other and with listening to him he was a 27 but yeah his life was a mess since his childhood years
this should be made into a movie, its such a sad and insightfull story on his life,im zulu but these code words made me understand 90 percent of what hes saying hes so smart and gangter this guy💯
@@YoungKidT 😂 😂 😂 😂 he got carried away explaining how he got into the number, long story short.....he stabbed someone in prison, was beaten up by prison warders badly, thrown into solitary confinement and that's where someone threw him a little package with some items including a letter confirming that the leaders of the number have seen what he has done and he is one of them. He just gets carried away with the lingo, I think he's too pationate about the number
From my little knowledge of the life. The 27s were regarded as the most unruly of the gangs with gruesome flag-raising duties. Their mandate was initially to cause chaos to the correctional system and from time to time blood was needed to fly the flag high. Warders would rather deal with 28s rather than 27s because it is the nature of the 27s to not even take orders from the warders. The 27s defended the gang code from the 26s right through to the 28s. In Durban Maximum Prison the 27s are dying bread because they were normally the OGs of apartheid-era times that demanded gangsters to follow the code and gave birth to the 26s. Now the 26s have assumed control of the hierarchy but only a few mountains are afforded the right and respect of the number as they dedicate their lives to this. All I am saying, in prison rather cross paths with 28s and 26s,24s, big fives than the 27s.
@@nkosisiyabonga4552 Yes they do. They still exist in the Western Cape and Eastern Cape and normally called themselves abantu baseHolland because they dealt with the Dutch (Afrikaner wardens and rules)
@@nkosisiyabonga4552 No, you automatically assume the rank of the warden in whatever numbers gang you belong in. If that warden was second in command, that is the role you would take in your gang etc. You become a 27 if you choose too, get tasked to kill someone breaking the code/rules of the gang even if its a warden and then tell the whole prison you did it for the number. After certain rituals you would have some test your pulse and if they claim your blood beats 3 times then you become a 27 and get given "intshayelo" (gang lingo and history that you need to recite and know by heart) and "ibhuku" ( tattoos that tell your journey and story)
This young man had no chance in life from the beginning of his life. The older man who used him must be ashamed of themselves. Also step father you accept a woman and reject a child who did not ask to come into this world. Most men have children all over the place and no one judges them. I will not tolerate that rubbish, I will rather stay with my children and live a happy life with them. No one is going to ever separate me from my child or children.
totally agree with you there but its the only life he has ever known and the sad part it seems the people who groomed him made him believe the life was the only form of security and thrills
