I hear what you're saying about Icons like Nakata not being high enough rated BUT you've got to consider that these are ICONS not Legends. Icons are just players who are iconic and not necessarily the best players in the world. If I have the same likelyhood of getting a Nakata compared to a Cruyff I would be surprised. I'm sure they will be more easily attainable than the "good" icons. I'm just looking forward to having more of them in the game :)

Someone explain factually how Gerrard is a better midfielder than Lampard. Lampard in his prime won Chelsea the league, scored assisted and defended as well, if not better. The only reason Gerrard is seen as a better player is sadly due to having a larger and more loyal fan base of Liverpool fans.
Winning titles doesn't always mean they are the superior individual. I mean look at the difference in team quality around lampard to Gerrard. Yes while lampard did score more, Gerrard is far better defensively (can more easily play in different positions).
To add to Jah's point, Gerrard played occasionally with top quality players however Lampard dod for the majority of his career. If you look at the Chelsea and the Liverpool sides that won Champions League titles, you can see the stark difference.

Maddens Chemistry System would be great for FIFA. Short explaination: You can introduce Team Chemistry Styles like Counter Attack, Wing Play etc. for offense and Press, Stay back etc for Defense. Instead of the intense Boosts for example Hunter gives, all players with Wing Play would get +1 Crossing +1 Heading for example. The Team Chemistry Boosts are split in Tiers. 1 Players with Wing Play -> you get the regular boost on this player. 3 player with wing play would then provide +3 Crossing and +3 Heading on those 3 Players and so on. Special Cards like TOTW could then have an extra Slot so you can play multiple Chems oder max out one etc.
Mark Snowden been playing since Fifa 14 with a shitload of Champions since its been available. Despite finishing elite nearly every week and spending quite a bit on points ive never been able to pack one. Would be funny if ea had to Show the chances of Packs. Probably 0,1 percent...
Last year I delted my account and started again and pack like 5-6 fromdrafts, including prime Gullit but before that I had only ever packed 1 and that was Donavon at the end of fifa 17
I'd say its a 100% chance the gameplay is still the same from the final beta patch.. Defenders pace wont matter because EA drops the anchor on any attackers who gets anywhere near the defensive line to balance out the game instead of fixing it.
The rating of cruyff is real shameful. His rating needs at least te bo as high as te ratings of pele, maradona. Many people around the world seen Cruyff as the best player in the wor.
Because what's the point of having lower rated defenders like Manolas and Varane who have exceptional pace for their position and then throwing a shadow on them to practically max out their pace and defending stats. It makes other options like some of the icon CBs that are slower completely irrelevant because even though their defending is superior, their pace is less. So when you put a shadow on that defender vs someone like Manolas, Manolas wins hands down simply because of his pace stat. 95 pace vs 82 pace is a big difference. Whereas their defending stats will be almost identical - both close to, if not maxed out. It makes a lot of otherwise usable cards almost obsolete. Playing seasons vs FUT is a massive difference. Slower players that have higher stats in other areas are very very usable. In FUT they aren't really unless they have some stats that are maxed out, i.e. shooting at 99.
No, the largest a chem style affects any one stat is by +15. But when you get someone like 83 Gabriel Jesus and put a hunter on him, his stats go up to 97 pace, 87 dribbling and 90 shooting. Compare that with a hunter on 87 Cavani and you get 89 pace, 80 dribbling and 92 shooting. Who are you more inclined to use? The guy with 2 more shooting, even though shooting is highly assisted or the guy with 8 more pace and 7 more dribbling for much less coins? (Less coins when the game is out for longer, not when the game is first released as many players like Gabriel Jesus are way overpriced, more during the mid-later stages of FIFA).

What does this enable in fut, does it mean it will be upgraded like otw's do when they recieve a special card like a motm or totw? Why don't fifa make the icon system more enjoyable? Like you can only buy the baby version and 'level up' the card by hitting milestones or doing challenges with it. Would give the player so much incentive to play the game and grind out those levels

The 87 Moore looks good decent pace, good dribbling for a centre back and good physical and defending. Put a shadow and that card will be good.

Rivaldo - 87 Cam “very good” after talking about Cruyff 89 being easily eclipsed early by an inform.... since we don’t know actual in game stats yet, just looking st face card stats the cruyff appears better yet you acted like it was worse. Any reason for this or was this just an oversight?

Has anyone noticed that there hasn´t been any info on chem styles? in the chu boi FUT trailer, you can see that there was no chem styles on the players nor the packs opened, Is EA getting rid of them to make the game more "fair" for cards like baresi, Hierro, etc? And make players like Bakayoko last year less relevant for a long time? What do you guys think? Keep it up Nep!
