    La cosa straordinaria è che normalmente si immagina che la musica classica "colta" del 900 sia sempre qualcosa di difficilmente ascoltabile, dissononante ad ogni nota, invece...

    It has a lot of interesting textures, but lacks rhythmic cohesion and articulation, leading to a somewhat monotonous experience.

    At first, with a bevy of 'wrong notes', I thought this was somehow sarcastic.
    No, it is just four-square faux Romanticism written by someone who wrote almost like a computer program like Sibelius would force you to write. As it is, it just sounds like a child who has just learnt what a quaver and a chord is, but who just fills out said chords without any skill.
    Just listen to the relentless plodding of the harp in 4/4 time. It's a CONCERTO, and you could get anything to bash out these notes.
