i don't want a good going second deck. i want *going second* to be better in general. give us more flexible tools that are great going second but not completely dead going first (thrust, talents), print more ED monsters like S:P and ty-phon, and design more decks that can play into a board if you draw a hand of all engine pieces. *don't* make a deck that can run 25 non-engine and has a bunch of 1-card combos that deal 30k damage.
Talents is NOT dead going first lmao, that's crazy to say. Its handrip can be deadly if the enemy triggers a handtrap. I do agree going second needs buffing tho, and i think it needs to start by murdering going first, seeing as MD still has legal Apo, Baronne, Elf and all sorts which favour going first significantly. Going second in MD was already a misery before Tenpai.

A good going second Deck should be about dismantling an opponents field with the tools the archetype itself offers ( like maybe just an upraded version of Sky Strikers ) and just consist of 14 Archetype Cards with the remaining 26 being taken up by generic handtraps and board breakers. I am not defending stuff like Snake Eyes, but Tenpai is equally if not more obnoxious since Snake Eye atleast requires some knowledge on the combo lines.
