Sometimes I just don't get where do you get so much inspiration from. I admire you! Every meal so far in every video looks soooo sooo delicious. And I am so grateful that we all have you with your beautiful meals and calming lovely voice. So much goodness in one video. Thank you for inspiring us too cook more and to have fun with our food! Lots of love to you and to your other half
It can be anything, I live, eat, sleep, breathe food, haha - but for me it's all about taking non-vegan foods and my previous favourite meals and making vegan versions of them :-) Thank you so much for the lovely comment an for watching, too kind! Much love to you! X
Those chocolate figs looks delicious. I made your Peach Crumble from last week & even my husband who isn't usually fond of peaches said it was really yummy. I did add some cinnamon to the crumble for a little extra treat.
pro tip: before adding the water to the green bean stew, let it kinda cook on low heat- stir occasionally until the beans turn into a darker green color. it won't be cooked at that point obviously so add water as you did and let it simmer until it's soft. you'll be amazed how a 5 to 10 mins of soteeing could do to that to the beans, it's perfection!
Your what I eat in a day's are my favorites and they always gives me so much inspiration! I don't think that I'm alone when I say that I would be so happy if you would write a cookbook with all your wonderful recipes! Sending love from Sweden💗💗
I make spring rolls quite a lot. I recommend you using lukewarm water instead and do NOT let the rice paper soak. It makes them too sticky and soggy. It's better when you quickly roll your spring roll wrapper around the warm water to get the whole surface wet then lay it directly onto a flat surface (like a plate). After a couple seconds you'll get the perfect consistency for your rice paper. Try that out! (:
Your 'what I eat in a day' videos are my FAVOURITE! I like how you talk, I like how clean and tidy you are, I like your ideas and cretivity...oh and I like your rings as well :D
i made the turkish style beans with frozen litlle green beans and it is so good, i add too much water so it was a little bit soopy so i ate it as a soop, really good thank you for sharing
Jess, I'm definitely going to try the Turkish green beans - they looked delicious! By the way - congratulations on 90K! You deserve each and every one of us :) xx
Hi Jess and thank you for yet another yummy video. The beans in red sauce dish is actually Greek, or at least I know it as such because I grew up with dishes like these, called "ladera" (means oily). We also add potatoes and its traditionally eaten with feta cheese as most of the oily dishes. But yogurt could go as well like you said and of course for us vegans it would have to be a non dairy alternative. Google "Greek ladera" and you'll find lots of interesting vegan recipes! Xxx 💕
Ah thanks so much for the heads up - I've had other comments saying it's a dish from other countries too, haha - I think it's dish that can be varied and different countries have different ways of making/eating it, for example, in Turkey as I say it is eaten with natural yoghurt, bread and raw red onion. It would be so delicious with some vegan yoghurt or some vegan feta ;-) I'll definitely look it up, thank you! X
Hi Jess, I was wondering how you always think of new creative recipes- does you just get the ideas in your head randomly or do you keep a food ideas diary, or take inspiration from other recipe ideas or something?
I've always had a huge passion for food and it's always fun to get creative with vegan food - that's all I want to do to show it's not bland or boring. Yes, most of these ideas come from my head, otherwise I can get inspiration from restaurants, menus, TV cooking shows etc :-) X
So I've actually been binge watching your 'What I eat in a day's since some German youtuber recommented you as one of their favourites! Quite happy to have some new stuff now haha :)
Yay,so love seeing these video Jess.I absolutely adore asparagus but it is often so pricey but lately I have found it on sale and have just been roasting it and enjoying it immensely.Well I must say between your dinner and the chocolate covered figs I am drooling, lol. You are just too amazing in the kitchen. Hope to see Arty soon and Cookie wants to see him too,lol.. xoCathy
Thank you so much Cathy! That sounds delicious, will have to roast some next time! Ahh will send you some Arty pics soon so you can both see him! Kisses to Cookie from us! X
You should do an ebook. Love your videos. I'm a recently turned vegetarian but I hope to go vegan soon. I just love cheese & milk but I know the dairy industry is just as bad as the meat industry. I just want to do it gradually, and your videos help inspire me x
Ah too kind, thank you so much! That's amazing, good for you - you've already taken the biggest step! Definitely, baby steps is the way forward and there are delicious cheese, milk, ice-cream, cream, chocolate etc. alternatives out there now, you could slowly start introducing them. Cheese was my all time favourite food, I never thought I could give it up but now I'd never go back which shows it can be done ;-) Also check out some of the documentaries in the description box, some are long but so worth a watch - they made my decision to go vegan so easy :-) X
For authentic green bean Trisha dish you don't need to pre cook anything. Just add the beans in the bottom of the saucepan then add the onions tomatoes, small amount of tomato paste salt pepper and lastly small amount of oil over oil cook the last 10 minutes stir everything and once everything cools add some more olive oil
Thanks so much for the tips! I live in Turkey and this is just the way I've been taught to make it but I guess it can be done in different ways as long as the outcome is the same A.K.A one of the most amazing meals ;-) X
omg I can't get over how creative you are love!!! that was an amazing video 😄😍 you gave me lots of inspiration- gonna try the veggie wraps tomorrow for lunch 😆
I was so happy when I saw your what i eat in a day pop up. I love your videos. You inspired me to start making my own what I eat in a day vids. They definitely aren't as fun as yours though ❤😊
Wicked! We have a fig tree in our back yard so I will do the figs as soon as they come in, I love the sweet, salty & bitter idea--YUM. Also I will roll up veg for a snack for hubs tonight, to dip in hummus, AND I love the green bean dish, they are in season here in NZ. Some how I think they would be good with roasted potatoes. You are a wonder how I actually do things from your videos
Oh wow, how amazing! Hope you love the recipe, it really is a delicious dessert :-) That's a really good idea, roast potatoes would also work so well - maybe some garlic-y, herb roasted potatoes YUM! Ah thank you so much for watching! X
I love your videos so much !! You are kind of "food artist" haha ! So many different and original ideas ! By the way, you seem to be so kind ! Kisses from France !
It's amazing how good your recipes are, do you come up with all of them yourself, or do you get inspiration from somewhere else :)? Anyway thank you for these videos, I love it when they come out xoxo
All recipes are my own, I get inspiration from restaurants, tv shows etc. but I'll always link to someone else's recipe if I use them :-) Thank you so much! X
Love your what I eat in a day videos because other vegan recipes can have quite unusual ingredients but you use mostly house hold foods!! Which country do you live in because it definitely looks too warm for the uk!!
Hi Jessica, I'm sorry for the mistakes but I'm French, I just want to thanks you for the " what I eat in a day ", I'm trying to recover from eating disorder and it's not very easy for me to have a vegan meal plan, but thanks to your videos I'm inspired and I know that what I will eat will be healthy and good for my body, so thank you !

I watched all of your "what i eat in a day" videos, they are soo addicting and well done.I was wondering how do you find time to do all of that cooking and preparing?
Thank you so much for watching! I work from home, I wake up at 7am and I allow myself the time to cook and prep meals. I know that not everybody has the same amount of time to cook and prep, but many of these meals and recipes can be made in bigger batches and many can be frozen to last you through the week :-) X
I love your WIEIAD videos! You are so creative (and patient!) with your food! Do you always cook this comprehensive every (other) day? I mean preparing 3 meals and 3 snacks from scratch every day? X
Thank you so much! I just enjoy cooking :-) It's not everyday, for example - a batch of granola or superfood bread can last me for the whole week, I just save the recipes to show in these videos so it's easier to follow but I also live in a country where vegan options aren't available, so there's not much of a choice other than to cook from scratch :-) X
Thank you so much! Almost weekly, as I try to do cruelty free beauty videos in-between (those are just as important to me!), if not weekly then every 10 days hopefully :-) X
i love your what i eat in a day videos! Quick question can the summer rolls be taken to work/school for lunch or will the rice paper wraps dry out? Ive never had rice paper rolls so I'm curious.
