Wow brother! Thank you thank you ! My mother in law fell today and I was at the hospital just getting ready to leave when I saw your video pop up. You do great reactions and I appreciate that. Thank you for the intro you gave I was like whoa I wasn’t expecting any of that! We’ve had a long day was at the hospital over 7 hours and they kept my mother in law in. Went to early Mother’s Day meal and she fell down the steps at Logan’s Roadhouse and she broke some ribs and it’s just been a bad day but thank you for the video, and as I said I’ll be in touch soon with ya! Thanks again brother
Really sorry about your mother in law! I hope all is well with her. I'm glad I was able to make a terrible day just a bit better. It was truly my honor to learn and share some info about you! You've definitely led a full and interesting life! Rebel radio was all I would listen to in GTA because it was funny AF!! I'm in a few dads gaming groups and it was great watching them freak out when I told them about you! So again...thank YOU!
Sorry to hear of your mother-in-law's difficulties. Hope she will be fine. Class move to promote Angelina to the History Buff, well done, excellent taste.
Hope mother in law is on the mend. Thanks for requesting the NGT performances, it's great that your an Angelina fan, she is my favorite singer. You know, it's amazing how we come to find out about things. I never new that the dancing character in GTA was based on a real person.... Now the next time I run him over in my tank, I'm going to feel a bit bad... lol. 😊
all the fantastic new talents we see on internet,,,,yes they are great, some amazing ,some extraordinary ,,,,,,,,,but,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,Angelina being the most humble ,most holding back, never in your face, never showing off ,,,,,,,,,she enters your heart and your soul and finds home ,she finds all of us and makes us better people ,,at least for a while,,,,,,,,,once in a lifetime experience
HOW HOW HOW does this little girl show such emotion in her voice, she is astounding? She has carried this through to her teens and what an amazing artist she is, I love her and all she stands for 💕💕💕
This is one of the most outstanding prodigies ever to be born and she knows 100% what gift she has. The world needs to see her journey and I can’t imagine what she will be doing when she’s 20 or so!!! The barefoot angel 👼
Love the shot of Angelina and her Mother, I have not seen that before and I search Angelina vidoes every single night for the past 3 months since I discovered her. Awesome is an understatement. Cannot wait until Republic Records drops her first album
I love the fact that the music begins, she steps on the podium and starts singing. Even at this age, she is so relaxed. She chose all her own music...to this day. 🌺
Jesco I have never heard of you but certainly will check out some of your videos and so forth. Understand that you have a radio show---would be great if you could play some Angelina---she is beyond and description. I am 72 and love all types of music, country, big band, jazz, rock, opera, but Angelina will top all of this.
I really love how you take the time to know the song, before you go into these reactions. It makes your reaction interesting, and I appreciate it. These reaction was so exciting to find. You knew that Gloomy Sunday was the audition. I believe Bang Bang was her semi-final, and Summertime was her finals performance. As long as I've listened to Angelina, I can't help going back to see this little waif sing. Thank you, Thank you!
I came across my grand daughter listening to a song . I said Etta James melody in a couple spots but the words are different . She was listening to “Happier than Ever” by Billie Eilish . I said some of the melody not much is from Etta James “My Funny Valentine “, also sung by Sarah Vaughan and of course Angelina Jordan who puts her spin on it and you can’t help but love her . I’m no expert but should you ever get the chance to listen to Angelina Jordan sing My Funny Valentine and then listen to Billie Eilish sing Happier than ever . Am I , the grand mother wrong in thinking some of the melody is from Angelina Jordan ‘s song My Funny Valentine , who goes on all her covers gives credit due . I could have said nothing but then another song came up and I recognized some of the melody . We must give credit to the original artists as I’m sure you will believe also . PS Then maybe my grand daughter and I can stop fighting . Thank you
You are correct about nancy's version being flat...was actually written by sonny bono, for cher, and for some reason covered within a year by nancy; redeemed now, and enjoyed by us, thanks to Angelina.
I hope other comments have recommended her 'live orchestra version' of this song. It's a much slower tempo, much more like sitting on the dock over a lazy summer river, meandering along, waiting for some fish to bite. Two different tempos to the same song, and I'll be surprised if you don't find your preferences for one versions, then flip back later on, then again and again.
Great reaction ! Regarding your comment towards Bjarte, one of the judges. Imagine that most of us fans have never heard anything like Angelina in 50 years or so. Now imagine, we would be sitting in a talent show, maybe mediocre expectations, and then this 7-year old girl with a missing tooth shows up. And you know, that this is nothing you have ever seen/heard, and it is happening in front of you. Of course you are hyperventilating when she sings Bang Bang, because this is Nancy Sinatra's song.....but surprisingly it is now Angelina's song, and she is only 7.....can any of us imagine the disbelief that the judges experienced here ? I am sure they will never forget this moment in their whole life.
She was 7 yo for her audition. She was 8 for Bang Bang and Summertime (final). The auditions are taped and live shows are some number of months later. She had an impossibly low range for her age.
I'm so glad you listened to the original by Billy Holliday, I don't think you can fully appreciate just how great of a job she did here. It's almost identical. just amazing. Alos, on Gloomy Sunday, at the end, you see Angelina's mom wiping tears away. In an interview she said she realized seeing the judges expressions and the audience's during her song , that she would have to share her with the world from now on. The guy with the glasses when asking if she knew what the song was about, wanted to know if she knew it was about suicide. He responded well when he realized she didn't know
Angelina is one of the most addictive singers I have ever listened to, & one of the very few, that can pull you right into the song, making you feel, every word, every note, & every emotion. ❤️💙 I always have this feeling that Angelina is not only channeling some of these late great singers, but that they also pass through her, when she is singing their song ❤️💙 A rare beauty, in every sense of the word ❤️💙 Whether you are a believer in reincarnation or not, I find it very intriguing that Lou Rawls, the American Jazz & blues singer legend, passed away only a few days before Angelina was born 😊 Loved your reaction!!!
You were wondering about who her Mom is. She was the beautiful blonde-haired lady whom the Gloomy Sunday video showed backstage wiping her eyes as Angelina was singing on stage. Her name is Sara Astar. It also showed her and Angelina swinging each other's hands back and forth at the beginning of the video. Angelina, with the help of her maternal grandmother Meri Zamani, has been researching, studying, learning, and singing jazz since she was literally THREE years old!
Born to die is one of my favorite!.. in that cover she was just 12 years old (incredible). And now with 15 years old one of my favorite is "All I Ask" by Adele. Please if you can react to those! 😊🇳🇴
I saw a comment recently that said "Some singers take you to church, Angelina takes you to a SpeakEasy." Also, if you watch during "Bang, Bang", there is a moment when she looks at the guitarist during a break in the vocals. Even at this age, she knew how vocals and instruments work together.
Here is a quote from Angelina (7y) from an interview with TV2 after her Audions NTG 2014. "The reason I chose this song is completely random. I love jazz, but" Gloomy Sunday "was random. It was a night I could not sleep and my mother was stressed that I was awake long after midnight. Then I borrowed my mom's iPad where I wanted to listen to jazz on TH-cam before I fell asleep. Then came a picture of a beautiful lady screaming at the sky and with her eyes closed. I heard the song "Glommy Sunday" that night and then I had to hear it every day. I love the melody. I understood well what the text was about because I know English well. Every time I sang it I felt something special about it, it's hard to explain in words. When I sang it for mom, she said that this song is nice, but that it was incredibly sad song. " ✌😎✌💯 *AJ* 💯🎙
"She doesn't even know what she's saying." I think that's what I heard you say on "Summertime." Trust it, she knows EXACTLY what she's saying! She has an extraordinary vocabulary and understanding of English. You should check the videos of her singing Tom Jones' "I Who Have Nothing" and Adele's "Rolling in the Deep" at the age of SIX YEARS OLD -- equivalent to a FIRST GRADER. In those videos, she is in the recording studio of her music school, and at six years of age, is READING THE LYRICS off the score sheets while simultaneously interpreting them vocally and emotionally. YEAH, Angelina COMPLETELY UNDERSTANDS what she is saying!
I said, "does she even know what she's singing" not meaning the words. These songs have very adult themes. The judge even says something similar asking if she knew what it was about.
@@HistoryBuff And you are correct in your suspicion. As Angelina's (innocent) answer to that judge proved, to her (at the age of 7) the song was about "a sad Sunday" which showed she had no real comprehension that the song had such a dark history that it was also known as the "Hungarian Suicide Song" and some suicide victims had been found with the lyrics of the song pinned to their clothing. (Enough to prompt some governments to to ask radio stations to cease airplay of it.) Since Angelina has reached a point of understanding those lyrics, I don't think she's ever performed the song again (in public at least). www.historicmysteries.com/gloomy-sunday-suicide-song/
Very good intelligent reaction in the way you compared her to the original singers, and understood what you were watching. Unlike many jump on the bandwagon reactors. Subscribed.
you wonder how she is gonna do Bohemian Rhapsody. I can tell you this. there is 2 versions of this iconic songs. Queen's version and her version. and Queen's remaining members applauded her performance.
You did see her mother 2x's. She was the willowy tall blond with the scarf 1st time was her wiping her tears early in the 1st video then toward the end after the win.
She just walks out like she's been doing this for years and it's no big deal to her....the judges are blown away and so emotional....she was born to sing ..u cant teach this!!!!
I think her most impressive performance was her second, the "no audience, judges cuts", where she performs an acapella of Billie Holiday's "I'm A Fool To Want You". It is funny that Bang Bang is associated with Nancy Sinatra's cover version (thanks mostly to Kill Bill I think) by so many when it was never even a single for her. Yet Cher had a huge hit with it reaching #2 in 1966. The song was actually written for her by Sony Bono after she told him about her first broken heart. A little boy who she would play cowboys with and always let him win the gunfights but one day he just went on to play with new friends and had no other use for her leaving her shattered.
November 6th, 2020 - After billions of views and a series of monumental performances, Angelina Jordan 14-year-old Los Angeles-based, critically acclaimed Live studio performance she has Sign with the Republic records! Song Million miles Original
Thank you for that brilliant reaction, my suggestion is to watch "what a difference a day makes" which is my favourite, it's live and an outdoor performance. I look forward to more of your reactions, thank you.
Thank you for this beautiful reaction with the 3 songs Angelina's in NGT (but the interpretation of the chapel is missing), these are the firsts public splendid interpretations of that fantastic little girl and the reactions of the judges during her songs are another fascinating spectacle of what Angelina is capable of causing 😊 Was an astonishing event for those who lived it at that moment, the emotion one feels for her first performances, in which she wonderfully connects her voice and talent with aspect of that little bird playing, it is very big and intense and leaves you permanently marked. ❤️ To think that at 7 / 8 years she was perfectly capable of reading, analyzing and making contact, in a foreign language, without any doubt or fear, with the public and with the stunned judges, seems impossible. She convinced her mother to sign her up for Talent because she was confident ... at seven years! In the days following the first performance, her online video recorded over 5 million views in a country, the Norway, which has as many inhabitants ... 😁 Seeing her sing in this talent, we realizes that she has never had hesitations or fears, the only time when she returned as a child is when they declared her winner with about 46% of the votes and she let herself go with tears of emotion. The first judge, at the end of this song, said what remains for me the simplest and most suitable description of Angelina, "you are the music", there is nothing more true. ❤️
Other singers, contort their faces, strain and force the sounds out.. Angelina just opens her mouth, nice and relaxed and beautiful sounds are emitted. She becomes the music and song. There's an interview about how she feels on stage when she sings, she says when she closes her eyes, she goes to an amazingly beautiful world. If you pay close attention, once in a while when she opens her eyes, she it happens really quick, but she gets slightly shocked as if she forgets there's people there watching her.
there was another performance between the first and second songs you saw. SHE DID NOT GO OFF FORM during Norways Got Talent. Summertime was the finale. she was Americas Got Talent The Champions in 2020. she auditioned when she was 13, late fall 2019. her version of Bohemian Rhapsody was HER style. she gets amazing feed back from the judges. when the show started airing on tv she had just turned or was about to turn 14 in january 2020. she was an absolute smash hit with everyone. they talked to her off camera during the competition and told her she could win, IF , if she signed a contract with the t v company . that way they could tell her what to sing or record . she politely told them NO THANK YOU. she wanted to do it her way and not be told how or what to do. BECAUSE she refused to sign with them she was NOT ALLOWED to win. it absolutely sucked, but thats show business for you. thank goodness she didnt sign with them. a video she did in her home studio was her take on Whitney Houstons " I Have Nothing". so many people who had seen her videos said she had a good voice but couldnt sing anything that took a big voice. well, she showed them with i have Nothing, and The Show Must Go On.
Angelina had one more song between the first one (Gloomy Sunday and I’m A Fool To Want You A-Cappella (the one you missed). Then Bang Bang (the 3rd one and then the 4th song in the finals. She was 7 when she sang the first two, and turned 8 mid-season when she sang Bang Bang and this last one.
one thing is for sure. Other that your "regulars" 99% of the people who watch this are already HUGE, Angelina fans. We're watching to react to your reaction. Most of us have seen this 100 times. Angelia has several "Originals", however, one really stands out, and that is "What is Life" the bonus is that she also is the composer of the Music, and the Lyrics! 2 great drops one Lyric, and one Acoustic. The Song, "Gloomy Sunday" is a dark song, and was the trigger for so many suicides that it was banned for a time. The Judge Knew that. Angelina did not. Talent competitions run for several months from recordings to broadcasts, to the grand Finale during the final few weeks. She auditioned at 7, and won when she was 8. her DOB is January 10 , 2006 this year (2021) she turned 15. She is also an author (Youngest in Norway's History) and an accomplished seamstress, she makes most of her own clothes (worn in performances)
Anjelina is by far one of the most talented people on the planet right now so don't get me wrong, l could literally listen to only her and never get sick of it. Having said that, at the age of 7/8 she was an extraordinary mimic. She had no real clue what she was singing, she just impeccably copied what she heard. Never the less, she has always been capable of captivating a room and she is a unique and insanely talented young lady
@@jasgem76 you might get a little dissension on the mimic comment but I don’t disagree with you. While she might not have been completely understanding of the lyrics at that age I do believe her to be very empathic even at that early age and understood the feelings as she listened to the originals
@@jasgem76 Firstly, I’m not taking a particular position on this and I can’t provide sources, but that said, I read a post from an Angel who said he’d watched an interview during which Angelina was asked wether she knew what the song was about when she sang it on NGT and she rather indignantly suggested she did. She went on to explain its meaning and to remind the interviewer that she’d been listening to Billie Holliday for years. She talked about how she often discussed the meaning of the lyrics of Billie Holliday’s music with her mother. Just thought I’d add this to the debate as it seemed relevant.
@@kevingood4644 Well done, Kevin. I believe one important factor which Jasmine did not take into consideration is that Angelina's intellect at 7 years old far exceeded anyone's wildest imagination !!!
@@RobertDeMartin I think judging AJ by the standards of your every day child is an understandable mistake to make by anyone. I just wanted to add a little more info into the debate. She wasn’t and still isn’t your average child by any standard whatsoever. I’d be fascinated to know her true IQ..I’m sure it’s way beyond mine! Lovely to chat with you Robert as ever..take care...
It's funny that you keep saying she reminds you of a lounge jazz singer. Well a few months after she won NGT, she had a small role as an 8 yo lounge singer in a TV series called Lillehammer. I believe it's about a gangster that flees the states to hide out in Norway. From her 1st audition to the finals took 6 months, so her skills improved between each performance. Nice reaction!
You got it right but missed just one performance, a second audition because they had not eliminated enough performers in the first auditions. Singers who had instruments, like guitars, could use them, but those without had to sing acapella. As you guessed, Angelina chose a similar song and it was one of Billie Holiday's, I'm A Fool To Want You. By the way, she performed this classic again when she was 111 or 12 and it would be fun to react to both together. First: (193) Angelina Jordan - I'm A Fool To Want You - Norske Talenter - 2014 - TH-cam and second: (193) Angelina Jordan - I'm a Fool To Want You (Billie Holiday) (Studio Recording) - TH-cam
She stuck mainly to Jazz the only departure was Bang Bang. Norway as a country has a lot of Jazz festivals and bands. So she was playing to mass audience preferences, I suspect Angelina worked that out herself, her IQ is off the chart, she speaks half a dozen languages and is seriously into maths and science. She is also very well versed in international politics and the UN wants to make her an Ambassador.
I hope she does not have anything to do with the UN. Politics is something that will upset some of her fans no mater what she says. I love that she worries about other children and that is the place she can do a lot of good.
There is a video, with English subtitles, that shows her winning the show. They first announce the top three contestants, out of the ten finalists, and then the winner. Angelina won with 46% of the vote.
I believe Angelina was one of 10 finalists. Since she got 46% of the vote, the other nine split the remaining 54% (averaging 6% apiece). Something of a landslide, as they say! 🎤🎧 🎼🎵🎶
Angelina is the barefoot princess of 1000 voices. She can adjust her voice to any style or genre of singing. As you said, she has the gift of being able to express emotion of experiences she has never lived. Summertime was her final performance. She also did I'm a fool to want you acapella by Billie Holiday. Those were the only four songs. It's too bad you didn't get to hear the judges after summertime. Would bring tears to your eyes
Hello🖐 First of all , let me say you did a great job here reacting to 3 of 4 songs she did in NGT with the last song 'Summertime' being the winning one where she had got 46% of the all votes . Throughout the video you were curious as to the theme of song choice and you were expecting her to sing a 'belting ' song to impress the judges as you expected of most contestants do in these types of show. However, what you must know is that Angelina, through her grandmother's guiding influence from preschool age, listened to the greats of jazz of days gone by . We are talking about Billie Halliday, Ella Fitzgerald, Dinah Washington, Luis Armstrong and that's just to name a few. You will find as you continue along her growing years (physically & vocally) that her prodigous talent becomes more evident. For Angelina it's about tone, timing, breathe control and emotional delivery never belting unless it calls for it ie Whitney Houston 'I Have Nothing ' . I highly recommend you take a look at Rusty Shackleford's list of Angelina songs as he has them in chronological order and also gives a background information for each song. A helpful guide to new reactors to Angelina , such as yourself. There's over 130+ covers and 5 of her originals on that list . I have subscribed as look I forward to seeing you go through her journey.
Her parents gave her permission to compete when she was 6: she didn't feel she was ready. I think "... Spell in You" (9 yrs 2 mo) was the first time she publicly demonstrated belting. Guess that's when she felt she was ready.
Hi, AJ won NGT at8 yr.old that's when I started to watch her sing, as she was getting older she sang better and better. I can't pick a song because l love all her songs, she did a lot of covers it's like she came from another planet and fell here sprinkling Angel Dust I am 67 and I still love her, the song 7th Heaven she wrote with some help she's 15, very humble, care about people, she is a genius she chooses all the songs and arranges them. If you want to hear songs go to Rusty Shackeford or Boris Palenovaki channels they have all the songs that AJ sang they are super fans, I just want to say her voice is soul jazzy rich she brought back vintage songs she is different from other young girls has her own style, I hope you can hear more of her songs! Thank you for your great reaction!❗
Beautiful reaction, well measured comments. Thanks again. One suggestion for you!! Jumping on to Angelina’s America’s Got Talent performances it would be very nice to make a “double reaction” picking “Bohemian Rhapsody” and “Goodbye Yellow Brick Road” at once. You will be deeply mesmerized, and won’t regret it. Peace
Keep in mind, both songs are abbreviated versions of the originals (due to American broadcast requirements) and you should be able to fit them both in however... the comments before and after Bohemian Rhapsody are worth including. There is one version that includes Heidi Klum’s reaction... most reactors select the version that omits Heidi. 😕 It’s worth playing the one that includes Heidi’s reaction - it also includes Angelina’s emotional response. 😉👍
Please go back and listen to the one you missed out on, "I`m a fool to want you". I know you will appreciate that, and she is singing the song a capella. Unbelievable. Her best performance at NGT in my opinion. In total control, throughout the song. And did I mention she sang a capella? 😊 Thank you for being one of the absolute best reactors on youtube 👍💕
She stole my heart with Gloomy sunday, and after that I was most impressed by I'm a fool to want you of Billie H. she performed that a capella, which was unbelievable good (pitch, timing etc)! Her jazz songs eversince are always great, but she covered many other styles, always very good, often a wonderful tribute, many times better than the original, because her emotional connection with the lyrics is usually better than most singers. She just seem to 'feel' when you should leave an emotion to the listener, or when to bring your own feelings into it! How she can make it all seem effortless and natural is a big mystery to me! This girl is absolutely unique!
As for time passed, auditions were over several dates across Norway, Angelina’s was at the end of Nov ‘13, judges’ cut Feb ‘14 (no audience), then straight to live semifinal with audience voting. Bang Bang on Apr 19(?), more weekly semi’s until May 23rd where 10 finalists competed. She got 46% of the votes. I was in Norway for an event the following weekend and my host, a jazz musician, could not wait to show me her appearances. I strongly recommend you listen to her a Capella performance, the longer version on Rusty’s channel, unbelievable! Love your reactions!
To add, I think norwegians appreciate music in all forms, check out the festivals/concert scene all over the country. You do not have to “belt” to be appreciated. Oslo in the summer months is just crazy with music, I was there once where they had a jazz festival going on all week and the bands would play in the centre of town and I would wander from one end of the central, pedestrian area to the other. My plans for sightseeing that day went out the window. And Angelina has really made it difficult for me to listen to other singers. If she has covered a song, she has improved it. For me, anyway.
Was about to call it a night when I saw you had a triple threat AJ reaction. Awesome! Now I just had to stay up for these three amazing (and now historic) performances on NGT by Angelina. Never get tired of seeing/hearing these and so appreciate your thoughtful, informed comments.... Keep em coming and congrats on the cool donation!!
The second song you did not play was a knock out round for all the singers. She did I’m a Fool to want you, A cappella. I had to listen to this song several times before I really appreciated how special this song was. There are other videos that will give you the full version of the judges reactions after the songs. Summertime was the finals and she did win but I love the judges comments after that song. The first judge Omar became a very good friend of her family after the show. There is a video of him attending her birthday parties. He was also a very close friend of Michael Jackson spending a great deal of his youth at Neverland. His mother was a nanny for Michael’s kids
Angelina once said if she hadn't found Billie Holliday, there would be no Angelina Jordan. Jazz and blues are in her soul. She's been listening since a toddler to the old school jazz, and she brings it to covers of pop, jazz, blues, country, and even classical songs. (See Song for A, an art song written for her). Her own compositions show how she blends genres, but always with the jazz approach. Try her recent original "7th Heaven" for an example. Thanks for this triple treat!
Young Angelina doesn't try to be emotional, she just IS. Can't say that about any other child vocalist. History Buff now you need to complete NGT by reacting to I'm A Fool to Want You and I recommend you also do her 11 year old version of that same song. The improvement in 3 and a half years is remarkable.
Wow brother! Thank you thank you ! My mother in law fell today and I was at the hospital just getting ready to leave when I saw your video pop up. You do great reactions and I appreciate that. Great stuff., I love it when the reactor knows the history of ANGELINA, the history of the song and the covers. 👌PEACE LOVE AND HAPPINESS
♥️♥️♥️♥️♥️what a difference a day makes.
She is the only child singer I have ever heard that can sound almost like the original singer.
what make a seven years old be interested in singing this kind of songs is a mistery that just the spiritual world can explain.
Whats also amazing is English is her second language she actually speaks 3 or4 ! I saw a video of her in Japan singing Japanese I was floored!
Billie incarnate....
Folks dont realize what just happened from a 7 year old...
Savant, Prodigy, BLESSED
I think that summertime was in final song..👍💟
I love the fact that the music begins, she steps on the podium and starts singing. Even at this age, she is so relaxed. She chose all her own music...to this day. 🌺

And I LOVE your name!!
All her songs seem to bring more color, she is just the best! This is Popeye and God Bless!
I’m no expert but should you ever get the chance to listen to
Angelina Jordan sing My
Funny Valentine and then listen to Billie Eilish sing Happier than ever .
Thanks for reviewing all three of the songs in sequence. Very nice. 👍
Thank you.
He responded well when he realized she didn't know
The second song was a cappella if you want to hear that-amazing! This one was the final song that won her the competition.
I really do hope she keeps doing the classics !!!
Look at that cute little doll on that big stage.. 🤗 And THEN she starts to sing.. 🤯😪🤗🎶
Love from 🇧🇻
Speechless
Angelina, with the help of her maternal grandmother Meri Zamani, has been researching, studying, learning, and singing jazz since she was literally THREE years old!
john Sara said she was crying because that's when she realized she had lost Angelina to the world.
Thank You, WOW !
Born to die is one of my favorite!.. in that cover she was just 12 years old (incredible).
And now with 15 years old one of my favorite is "All I Ask" by Adele. Please if you can react to those! 😊🇳🇴
Thank you so much for such amazing reaction to our barefoot princess! Regards from Norway. 🇳🇴
They did say something and it was marvelous that video obviously truncated.
After taking that path many times, it is, like in a game, fun, pleasant and quite informative to have you this time as a guide.
I saw a comment recently that said "Some singers take you to church, Angelina takes you to a SpeakEasy."
Also, if you watch during "Bang, Bang", there is a moment when she looks at the guitarist during a break in the vocals. Even at this age, she knew how vocals and instruments work together.
Following a singers progression by the growth of her teeth 😂 Awesome video, thanks so much for sharing! 💖
Thank you for your reaction. You missed the second song that she performed acapella " I'm a fool to want you". A masterpiece in every way.
Thanks so much for the quote. Never saw that before.
Subscribed.
Thanks for the sub!!!
you wonder how she is gonna do Bohemian Rhapsody. I can tell you this. there is 2 versions of this iconic songs. Queen's version and her version. and Queen's remaining members applauded her performance.
Amen
You did see her mother 2x's. She was the willowy tall blond with the scarf 1st time was her wiping her tears early in the 1st video then toward the end after the win.
Wow never heard of this guy
Angelina 🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟
Yep there she is
She just walks out like she's been doing this for years and it's no big deal to her....the judges are blown away and so emotional....she was born to sing
..u cant teach this!!!!
November 6th, 2020 - After billions of views and a series of monumental performances, Angelina Jordan 14-year-old Los Angeles-based, critically acclaimed
Live studio performance she has Sign with the Republic records! Song Million miles Original
She does channeling. She says she goes into a trance. And if u watch her she knows exactly when there should be a note an tone change
When you think English is her 3rd language she is beyond compare!
Thank you for that brilliant reaction, my suggestion is to watch "what a difference a day makes" which is my favourite, it's live and an outdoor performance. I look forward to more of your reactions, thank you.
You got it right great reaction
your the best man!
Thank you for this beautiful reaction with the 3 songs Angelina's in NGT (but the interpretation of the chapel is missing), these are the firsts public splendid interpretations of that fantastic little girl and the reactions of the judges during her songs are another fascinating spectacle of what Angelina is capable of causing 😊
Was an astonishing event for those who lived it at that moment, the emotion one feels for her first performances, in which she wonderfully connects her voice and talent with aspect of that little bird playing, it is very big and intense and leaves you permanently marked.
If you pay close attention, once in a while when she opens her eyes, she it happens really quick, but she gets slightly shocked as if she forgets there's people there watching her.
look at the audience at this silence in the hall at your performance yes they are all hypnotized but it just has something magical
there was another performance between the first and second songs you saw.
Love it,,, Angelina Jordon I adore 🥰 she is a part of my day everyday. Excellent reaction. Thank you
one thing is for sure.
She is also an author (Youngest in Norway's History)
and an accomplished seamstress, she makes most of her own clothes (worn in performances)
Beautiful ❤amazing ❤❤
It's funny that you keep saying she reminds you of a lounge jazz singer. Well a few months after she won NGT, she had a small role as an 8 yo lounge singer in a TV series called Lillehammer. I believe it's about a gangster that flees the states to hide out in Norway. From her 1st audition to the finals took 6 months, so her skills improved between each performance. Nice reaction!
THANK YOU FOR YOUR REACTION AND THANKS TO JESCO WHITE FOR SUGGESTING IT
Again - thank you for these fantastics reactions. I appreciate them so much, and hope you'll continue this journey.
You are very welcome!!
I would love to see your reaction to dimash kudaibergenov singing opera number 2 I've never seen anything like that in my life and I'm 65
Yea agreed. We don't want to see her get Gretta'd
there is always a time lapse between the first audition and when the competition actually starts. it was a few months.
There is a video, with English subtitles, that shows her winning the show. They first announce the top three contestants, out of the ten finalists, and then the winner. Angelina won with 46% of the vote.
And I still cry every time I watch that video. 😢 - Mostly through happiness for Angelina of course.😀
I believe Angelina was one of 10 finalists. Since she got 46% of the vote, the other nine split the remaining 54% (averaging 6% apiece). Something of a landslide, as they say!
🎤🎧 🎼🎵🎶
54% probably got the vote wrong
@@GilTheCohen excellent - 🤣👍
gotta say that was the most interesting prologue to any TH-cam video I have ever watched. enjoyed your reactions, thank you sir.
I do not know why Utube only chooses to show me this now. I listen to reactions to Angelina Jordan . Anyway thank you.
Hello🖐
First of all , let me say you did a great job here reacting to 3 of 4 songs she did in NGT with the last song 'Summertime' being the winning one where she had got 46% of the all votes .
Thanks for the sub!!
Her parents gave her permission to compete when she was 6: she didn't feel she was ready. I think "... Spell in You" (9 yrs 2 mo) was the first time she publicly demonstrated belting. Guess that's when she felt she was ready.
I like your measured relevant comments, 👍🏻
You don’t have to mimic, copy a song to deliver is beautifully, Angelina knows that
Hi! Love your style and reactions and that you go back to the original song.
And I just love Angelina Jordan ❤️
Geetings from Sweden! 🤗
It’s worth playing the one that includes Heidi’s reaction - it also includes Angelina’s emotional response. 😉👍
Totally agree 👍
Erik Her second performance (the judge's cut) which she sang a cappella was I'm a Fool to Want You.
@@103mrg Ooops, you are totally right! Mixed it up! 😳🤔🙈 Thanks!!! 👍
@@103mrg Changed it!
To bad you didnt do the acapella as it was the most impressive performence of her in the NGT
@@onlyme064 in his latest reaction to Angie he says he will be doing that song soon.
Hi, she did not sing a different sort of song in NGT, BUT a month after NGT she sang "what a difference a day make" a the Alsang pa Grensen Festival.
You should definitely listen to her original "Million Miles" and her Adele covers.
"Song for A" was a poem that was composed into a song for her.
Never heard Nancy Sinatra's version of Bang Bang. Grew up on Sonny and Cher's version. Both versions were released in 1966.😎😎😎😎
Months went by. She was 8 when she won.🇺🇸👍
YES>>>> TOOTH CALENDER is very important with her.. from age 6 to 9. Helped us figure out her age for certain things.
😂👍😉
Young Angelina doesn't try to be emotional, she just IS. Can't say that about any other child vocalist.
History Buff now you need to complete NGT by reacting to I'm A Fool to Want You and I recommend you also do her 11 year old version of that same song. The improvement in 3 and a half years is remarkable.
Awesome reaction! Great work dude. Love your comments and the fact that you research your stuff first.
