Right! I loved the use of this song in that movie. Totally epic. Anna Kendrick & Chase Crawford... I'll probably always remember that beautiful montage set to this song. ;) So well done, despite the movie as a whole maybe not being the best thing ever. This was just perfection. (Part 6) But anyway, yeah. I don't know. I think they did make Quinn selfish in season 2 and the first half of season 3, and the two beautiful *selfless* moments you mentioned were outside of that time frame. She really
Oh gosh wow this was really touching. It's absolutely beautiful how you edited it and so emotional. And this song..I never heard it before and it's sooo beautiful OMG *;*
wow thank you so much! It means a lot coming from you. Yeah the song is so beautiful, I'd never heard it before until I watched a film and it was on. :)
Eventually I ended up with 2 foot & ankle specialized surgeons doing my latter 2 surgeries - I've had 3 main surgeries on my foot and now am presumably done for the rest of my life, with metal in my foot and my joint fused with bone glue and new bone growing where my foot used to bend about 15 degrees.
(Part 7) did things like announcing at the end of 1x12 that she didn't need the Cheerios, Glee was good enough for her, and then in 2x01 she rejoins them and in 3x01 quits Glee and it's really like the writers forgot what in the world happened on the show. They did a lot of great stuff with Quinn overall, and compared to how they ruined Tina's character I really can't complain. They ended Quinn's storylines in season 3 on a good note and I'm glad we at least got to see her a little in season 4.
(Part 5) in 2x01 to make Beiste feel bad about herself. The way they have Wemma break up for the 1st time in 1x14 is Will being an idiot & even cheating on her. In 4x19 "Sweet Dreams", which I don't think you've seen, he dismisses Marley unfairly which prompts her to supposedly write the gorgeous song "You Have More Friends Than You Know" which we vidded for GleekyCollabs2 and is all about people who need more time to grow (like Will, who watches on as the glee club meets in private to sing it).
Same, it was perfect and that scene makes me tear up every time I watch it. Yeah she might have been a little but I think she had so many feelings of guilt etc and she had no idea how to handle them all. I think Quinn's character was more messed up than Tina's. But yeah she got her happy ending... I just wish it included Puck.
Aw, this is gorgeous!! I love Quinn so much and especially the undervidded moments - especially those voiceovers - you captured. Really refreshing to see/hear in a fanvideo. Never heard this song before and I don't even know for sure if the title is forgetting nor who it's by - I didn't see you credit it in the video or description or anywhere, right? - but yeah. Wow. This is amazing and perfect. About the description... yeah I am trying so hard to not be disappointed that Quinn won't be in the
Thank you. You think the voiceovers are undervidded? I thought they were ones that most people used but thanks I appreciate it. No the song is called Forgetting and it's by David Gray (it was used in What To Expect When You're Expecting) :)
Yeah no, I know what you mean... there are ways to justify Quinn's selfish storylines... and yeah I basically feel the same way as you about everything Quinn. I really do. ;) And a lack of even extra friendship moments for her to have with Puck, if it couldn't be romantic, for all of us shippers is just unfair. A simple interaction between them is all we wanted and we almost/kinda got that in 4x08 but we deserved more haha.
I just re-watched my Tina character collab part in our GleekyCollabs2 "Flowers For a Ghost" collab and really I miss season 1 Tina and her sweetness and what she used to be. I really think there was a lot there that could've been done with her and instead they just kind of had her date Mike on the sidelines and have no plot or even lines 90% of the time. :P
(Part 3) I'll try not to focus on the negatives and what's not in the episode and instead appreciate what they do manage to do with who is on the show. ;) It'll be moving and regardless of how much I hate some aspects, I'll try my best to let myself appreciate the episode and I think I will. I think it'll be a great episode of the show. ~~~ As for what Will said in 3x02 about Quinn being selfish - I don't think the writers necessarily were voicing their own opinions through Will. I think they
Ahh it's okay, I was waiting for the other part of your comment before replying and then thought it might have been marked as spam. They do and I think that when he called her selfish etc he crossed the line. Yeah it's almost like they can't decide if he is a nice character or not. I haven't seen it I'm on Diva I think (which I've seen already... I think)
My brother's roommate from freshman year of college (university in your part of the world) had a stutter. It's not exactly the kind of thing anyone lies about so it is a pretty weird plot point. When I first saw season of the show I'd never met anyone in real life with an obvious stutter. So that's probably why it didn't offend me. I also kind of like how it was handled within that episode, because Artie was so hurt by the fact that she lied. :P
that I ended up needing emergency surgery, and that ruined my entire summer and ended up permanently damaging my foot for life because the surgeon was not a specialist in feet. :P I never was close to partially paralyzed - Quinn's supposed injury seemed more severe than mine - I have now had multiple surgeries & I think I'm closer to the injury storyline than some others, so the unrealistic/odd way they handled it especially bothers me. :P (Friday Night Lights did that type of storyline better.)
But then they got back together off screen and they ruined that too haha. :P I think I'm really partial to Artie's character so after what they did with him & Quinn in 3x15 I was expecting more later either where she realizes he was right and she won't just heal and she'd been in denial, or where HE realizes he was wrong and is jealous of Quinn healing when he can't... or something like that. But um...I played a party game at a 5-year-old cousin of mine's birthday party &broke my foot so badly
Yeah there really aren't any, apparently though Dianna had suggested to Ryan where Quinn's storyline should go and he didn't like it and then decided he was going to make her go crazy and dye her hair, hence the first episodes of season 3. I don't know how accurate that is but it's what I read today. What kinda annoyed me the most is that they built it up like they were going to start dating and then in the end they just kissed, better than nothing I suppose. We could have had some in 4x14.
(Part 2) Cory/Finn tribute ep. But I'm failing. It's disappointing. Finn's death would effect Puck, Quinn, Rachel, Kurt and Will all pretty much equally in my mind, since all 5 of those characters considered Finn kind of their best friend in the world at one point or another. :P Finn was also huge in so many characters' storylines and stuff, like Sam, Marley, etc... but still. Any of them not being there will just be wrong to me. It's like Beiste not being at Will & Emma's wedding tho. Whatever.
I liked season 1 Tina (apart from lying about the stutter, I actually found that pretty offensive) I wish they'd let her have a solo every now and then, she's been there since the beginning, never quit the Glee club yet still hardly gets to sing.
I really think they're pretty underused. I've seen a lot of Q videos and well...like that first one, maybe the last sentence of it ("But I'd hate the idea...") is vidded a lot but the rest seems quite underused to me. ;) Sorry. My internet connection got cut off before. I was still commenting. Lol. (Part 4) like to use Will as an idiot jerk a surprising amount of the time, considering how he's also their "perfect" teacher role model man on the show who everyone adores. They use him as a bully
I grew up with a stutter (luckily it has stopped now) and I would occasionally get people laughing when I couldn't say something. So I didn't see why she would lie about something like that. Yeah Quinn's speedy recovery was unrealistic. I haven't seen the ending to Marley's bulimia storyline but I'm guessing it will be over in like 2 eps. I thought the school shooting episode was disgusting and refused to watch it especially with it being quite close to the Sandy Hook shootings.
I never found myself offended by the lying about the stutter thing, but I did feel offended about the way Quinn's recovery back to completely able to dance perfectly again and then the next season with Marley's bulimia was handled. :P Lol. Also the fake school shooting I was torn between being super offended or not. I can see being offended by so much of what Glee does but idk. Lol.
No one was together in real life, what? I'm confused about where I confused you haha. Well a general orthopedic surgeon specializing in sports medicine did my operation. :P But there are 270 bones in the human body and so specializing in "bones" (orthopedics) isn't really as specified as you could be haha. The foot is intricate and complicated and I broke - and dislocated - 3 bones with a single bad land of a jump during a silly child's game where you leap across an imaginary river lol.
Yeah it's not something you lie about, if you had one you would wish that it would go away. They were together in real life? M I was hoping that she would be able to walk again but at the same time I wanted Artie to be right about her not recovering, That's bad, shouldn't a foot specialist have done the operation?
I think Tina in season 4 is the most ridiculous excuse for character development I've ever seen. From the bullying she took part in in 4x01 to being ridiculously selfish and idiotically mean to Marley about her eating disorder in 4x09, to the vapo rape craziness around her irrational crush on Blaine... to her Diva storyline in 4x13... and her lack of any real other storyline other than her complete obsession with Blaine... idk. The show doesn't handle Tina's character well at all, in my opinion.
I haven't seen most of season 4 so I can't comment, but yeah I didn't agree with what she said in 4x09 especially since she was somewhat bullied in the first season it didn't make sense in my opinion. Then again not much of the writing in this show makes much sense.

wow thank you so much! I tried so hard to show all her emotions so it means a lot that you thought I had :D

So glad you finished this ;) x
This is such a perfect tribute to this amazing character! Love it

Yeah it is, I mean after all they did date on the show and they seemed pretty close off set from what I've seen.
Same, I just hope they do it justice.

which scene is it the first voiceover from??
