$20,000 gold price: Franco Nevada chairman makes the case

- Gold prices should skyrocket to much higher levels, even $20,000 in two to five years’ time, as gold reaches a price level close to the level of the Dow Jones Industrial Index, this according to Pierre Lassonde, chairman of Franco Nevada.
“When I look at where we are today, the money creation will take time to [money] into people’s hands. I look at supply chain disruption, I think we’re looking at a two to five year period and I do believe that we will see, if not one to one [in the Dow/gold ratio], then very close to one to one,” Lassonde told Kitco News.

Great interview! However, it’s not a 20k gold price that he sees, but a Dow to gold ratio of 1:1! Dow could be at 5k, 10k, 20k, 40k!

Nobody knows what's going on in this crazy whacked-out freaking world !!! I'm telling you I wouldn't be surprised if real estate goes up 10% next year. Or dropped by 80%. Nobody knows what the hell is going on!! Gold could go ,for as low as $500. Or as much as ten Grand per oz. I'm putting cash in a safe. One positive note I have 5 open lines of credit revolving all at zero balances. 100%debt free😜

It is now with the exponential fiat money growth that people who have to work hard for fiat money, while reserve banks just printing this paper money, that other stores of wealth/work will be more attractive. Gold should be it.

If investors lose faith in the dollar and lose faith in bonds then stocks and begin to see gold as the best place to hold their wealth then $20k would be reached very fast. Gold and silver markets are relatively tiny compared to their stability role.

Don't the mines sell their future production at a fixed price? If so, then they cannot immediately take advantage of the higher price yet.
Would it help economy to use gold / precious metals as only money for international trade, while using currencies only in domestic economy?

Sobering words. My friend is a professor/administrator who spoke of 100% online teaching and yet how cheating is occurring due to lack of checks. When they try to implement adjustments for this , some students don't have the hardware necessary. Then to try to use laptops from the library , but no--the libraries are closed. Difficult times.

Anyone who tries to scare you with sensationalism telling you that the gold will go to $20000 or that we go back to dark ages when you needed physical metals to buy your weekly groceries is delusional or a gold dealer trying to make money on you. To reach $20000 gold must go 1200% up and it will not happen; although, it can go (in best possible scenario) around $3000 in 5 years from now.
Don't get me wrong, I love gold and I have been buying phisical gold for decades (I have nearly 200 oz of physical gold), parts of my collection you can see on my TH-cam channel.
Just think, the economy is closed around the world, the entire planet is in lockdown, equity markets crashed, there is hardly any physical gold left to buy, miners and refineries are closed, there is a pandemic in the world and the price of gold is not going up, it is only trading sideways or going 100 dollars up and then retracting on the following days. If gold is not skyrocketing with this scenario then it might not go up anytime soon

My advice is don't keep it , buy low . Sell high . Sharks have every thing they can control the price of every thing . One week the dollar is high then the next week the gold is high
There is a positive correlation between the price of oil and gold.
Funny thing was everytime they predict Gold that its gonna go up the price went down😁 this is the most manipulated metal in my opinion😊

There is so much oil in storage that there is almost no where left to put all of the new oil. That is because the consumption rate has dropped so much in the last few weeks.

I have 300 acres of claims with several old placer gold mines on them. They are in northern California. Over 2 million cubic yards of virgin pay gravels left to mine. We have approved Plans of Operations & are trying to find a partner. If he is correct we will be doing quite well in a few yrs.
