Natalie, you need to watch more Pitch Meetings. They are all hilarious. As others have probably mentioned, that 30 minute one was just a compilation of all 4 Twilight ones he did. They are all great, but honestly the Breaking Dawn one is easily the funniest thing I've ever seen. Like honestly I'm almost crying right now thinking about it. But there are a ton of great ones. They almost always point out something I've never thought about in a hilarious way. Very highly recommended.

Time is one of the subjects studied in the Department of Mysteries, and time turners are kept under lock and key there and are subject to an absolute limit that they can only take someone back in time five hours. Misusing it is wildly illegal; I think Hermione could've ended up in Azkaban for what she did with hers.

On the time turner "plot hole": In the books (Order of the Phoenix, specifically) they actually address that by showing that all of the time turners got destroyed in the battle at the Department of Mysteries.
That still doesn't address why they weren't used consistently , by experts , for decades before the books took place , to guide events. There should have been a whole offshoot of the Dept of Mysteries doing this. Not have them all sitting on a shelf.
