Why is the poor part of town always on the outskirts in these stories? In the U.S. the outskirts of town (suburbs) are where the affluent folks live, the poor people live in the "inner city."
in some places the inverse is true, since the city will have everything you need. New york city for example is considered a cultural hub, has almost everything a person needs and all the apartments there are expensive, while true that people who live in the suburbs on the outskirts are affluent there are some places were living in a rural area away from the city and amenities means cheaper living.

Aren’t all the stories just an AI regurgitation of a base story? But I have to admit, some of these stories can be a guilty pleasure while others I just skip to the end after listening to the first couple of minutes. Also, that thing at the end thanking Redit for reading is hilarious. Why does AI think that people really do that lol.

What I have an issue with is characters popping in with no back story, characters genders changing mid story, retelling the same story with only small details changed, and them not listening to their own story before posting to catch when the AI that actually wrote the story doesn't repeat the same line twice or drop random curse words out of the blue.
Her family was basically writing on the Railroad tracks that were built by somebody else. and now they're surprised that that person no longer is building their track for them and causing them to derail hard! I mean the uncle really did give them a lot with out even asking for anything in return other than they treat people right. also how do people not realize that trying to Guild trips somebody rarely works out if you haven't treated them like family! they were more than willing to exclude her from the Christmas party and now they're reaping the consequences of their actions. I hope one day they realize what they've lost when everything comes falling down and they're on the street and finally realize that it's too late to actually make a difference. they ruined everything for themselves. they built themselves a fragile Tower and now they're surprised that it fell down because of the wind. at least op is doing well.

if you live outside the suburbs the cost of living goes down alot. $260 a month vs $1500 a month for apt. in a city.
