Why tf would they nerf the drift tune bro I swear if I ever see the person in charge of the cars in gta I’d just love for them to have a heartfelt conversation with my shoes
Classic "if it ain't broke, don't fix it" situation man.. Hopeful that tandems are closer between different cars with this change, otherwise It's totally unnecessary 🤔
Man after they added the low grip tires and then nerfed all the auto shop cars I was so mad bc I felt like it was nearly perfect….then they made it to where you can’t double clutch them and extend your drifts and it was just pure anger after that. Literally sold most of the cars I got from that dlc bc I was so mad about it
It’s weirdly less power and grip until you hit the handbrake… handbrake makes you slide like on ice which is hella weird in contrast. Didn’t use to do that at ALL
The rx7 was my main drift car and it was fun fast a little slippery but it felt good to drive, but then the update happened and it just felt slow grippy and less fun to drift
Feels like they tried to make it easier for new drifters to jump into the drifting experience. Maybe also a way of grouping drifters together? In a sense where with this new grip and other changes, it would group all of us together in tandems regardless of the car we're using, if that makes sense. Also has anyone ran into a camera issue with the Cypher? everytime i tap the handbrake the camera angles slides to the side throwing me off as the view is off. On the flip side, in first person when drifting in the new cars the camera is fixed when compared to the olders cars where the camera moves depending on the angle your in giving you a good view of where you're going and jumping into new angles.
I think you're right man! Feels like they may have been trying to balance out the cars to me as well 🤔 I haven't tried the three new drift cars yet, got a z32 build in the works and then I'll be moving over to the three new drift tuning cars after that! I heard the drift camera works in third person but not first?? Not sure if that's the case 😁
Rockstar is like that boomdock character. If they catch you having too much fun with something they will slap the shit out of it with nerfs. They dont want you to have fun in GTA online, they want you to spend your money on 🦈 💳
Broo honestly!! And thing is, by allowing the upgrades to affect performance, players would be spending more in-game money, therefore increasing likelihood of shark card sales within the drift community. This nerf isnt even good for Rockstar! Truly mind-boggling how this benefits anyone 😂
@@ntns_media This is the same studio that nuke 100+ cars because they want you to buy their subscription service for them. All that end up doing is created a black market for car trading for players. So Instead of reorganizing the car store page by manufactures. They creating an even bigger mess then before. Do you really believe they think any of their decision through?
This change has ruined my experience, the lack of power makes long high angle drifts with smooth transitions feel like shit, i like to drift fast, not at 3mph, change it back for the love of christ, the cars sound awful struggling like this.
I'm with ya bro, the S13 shifting from (I think) 3rd to 4th is BRUTAL, straight kills any forward drive haha. Fingers crossed they bring the old drift tuning back in a patch!! So many of my old favorites are so meh now 😭
Me and my crew were just talking about this and couldn’t fully tell yet cause it was just a few of us so we weren’t positive if it was us or the cars buggin.😂 It’s sad to see but I can understand if they are trying to balance everything out for new drifters. Have you tested or talked to anyone that’s messed with the colors, under glow colors, roll cage, interior add on’s messing with the weight after the update? Me and a few buddy’s before the update messed with that stuff and the brighter the color the lighter the car and the darker the color the heavier the car was, same for the under glow. The roll cage, interior add on’s and stuff would make it heavier as well! I wasn’t sure if it was a placebo effect or not but we had multiple people test it and most of us said it wasn’t! It’ll be interesting to test and see how everything affects the cars now! (My personal favorite of the new drift capable cars is the nebula turbo, it’s definitely different but I feel that’s my favorite part, it has a good power band, great angle and could keep/recover angle and proximity.) 🤙🏽🤝
@@gagemorey8532 unreal comment bro! We had done some testing pre-update on the mods and found the same, nothing post update yet. I appreciate you stopping by the vid man, definitely not just you guys feeling the nerf!! 😭
@@ntns_media I’m glad we weren’t tripping out.😂 it was definitely fun to mess with and the colors were definitely the most interesting to find out about! Why??? I expected the opposite when the DLC first came out i felt d-tuning needed more power like more turbo tuning options or engine swaps would have been dope. 🤦♂ its not all bad but shitty.
I agree man, they should've left well enough alone! Fortunately it's something we can just adjust our driving styles to compensate for, but it's definitely a super unnecessary change where I don't see much benefit either 😭
LOL why is this such an accurate description 😂 Honestly, the nerf makes the road feel stickier because of less wheelspin! But it definitely doesn't feel like Forza or AC by any means 😂

Hahaha tryna keep it positive man, but DEFINITELY an unnecessary nerf. Guess we'll just have to get used to the new power/grip levels 😭
