My mum is English. My dear grandmother loved to arrange the magnificent blooms my grandfather grew for her to display. In Europe, especially in Belgium, Holland, France, and the Scandinavian regions, we don't like to "arrange" flowers in full bloom, 'coz their petals drop down! We are used to "wire" our flowers, and plant them on a Greenhose, so that, when they bloom for selling, they are still on a close stage!
This makes sense! Thank you for sharing, it is a great idea :) as they would last much longer🪴Also potted flowers can be a wonderful decoration throughout the whole year😍🌷

Do you know where these vases are available to buy? I live in a colonial farmhouse in rural New Zealand, and have an old garden, where I grow all kinds of flowers and foliage etc for arranging, and these vases are utterly lovely (so are the flowers!!!)
Dear Janette, what a dream to live in a colonial farmhouse in beautiful rural New Zealand 😍👏 Surely your flowers and surroundings are stunning as well 🏡🌳🌷☀️ Ah these visuals are based on real floral arrangements but have been recreated with help of new technologies, so it probably would be hard to find the exact vases ☺️ but they are all vintage mostly and here in England it is very popular finding little antique treasures online, garage sales, or artisan markets :) - these findings are always the most charming and have stories to tell. Maybe there are similar vintage sales in New Zealand 🤗💐
