I have gone through a lot since covid, lost my job, lost friends and nearly lost hope. But, God is the only true friend you have, your redeemer and salvation. He never let go of my hand, and despite all I have Him and my family who never pushed me away. Believe in Him and he will fight for you always.
How do I tell the story of Jesus and I ? Lately I’ve been in the Refiner’s fire in my life. Almost sinking trying to tell people but no one really gets it. Yesterday I felt those headaches, yes the kind one gets from going through stuff in life. I needed therapy on a serious note. But I heard this whisper in my heart “I am the Great Counsellor” Holy Spirit reminded me of a certain day I felt very alone, lonely. It was the first time I’d ever cried out “ Lord I am lonely” That night as I lay in bed I saw a white bright light in my room and a hand stretched out to hold mine. I knew I wasn’t alone. As I write this keeps ringing why am I sharing this? Coz it’s my way of documenting His goodness. In yet another trying moment am reminded that am not alone and when I remember I am strengthened, You are my Deliverer in trouble.
And I can recall yesterday I was in a Bible study and we were studying the function of the Holy Spirit in a Christian life and I can remember telling them that for samson,Saul and even David to overcome their enemies it took the power of the Holy Spirit of God for it is written that and the Holy Spirit came upon him mightily that he tore the Lion assunder,and another instance the Holy Spirit came upon him mightily and he smote many philistines with a jaw bone of a donkey.it took the Holy Spirit for them to obtain victory for it is written Not by Power ,not by might but by the Power of the Holy Spirit.
