BEST video out by far. Was great you mentioned stain remover because that's my problem. I was shocked when u mentioned manic Panic because I've always loved them until you mentioned how much they bleed. ( Just gone blue ² days ago and my neck and hands are stained from sleeping)
I LOVE how detailed this video is! Soooo helpful! You're always looking out for us girl!! 😁 As soon as the video started I'm like ohhh she givin' me blue mermaid vibes. 🧜🏻♀️💙 Your hair is so gorgeous! It really fits with your personality 😍
LAs totally awesome degreaser from dollar tree is a God send for dye. It got purple splat our of my rental apt sink after the stain had been there for 2 years. It's only a dollar too! For my tub, I always clean it while waiting for my hair to take. I've found that if the shower or tub has soap scum buildup, it retains the dye more and stains really badly. I use bartenders friend or whatever it's called. If it's blue after rinsing off the dye, I use the same thing that time and make sure to spray tilex all over everything after my shower. I use Arctic fox dyes. When I shower, I wash my hair with cool water and condition with conditioner mixed with dye. I then pop a shower cap on and turn the heat up for the rest of my shower then back to cold briefly to rinse. If you have dye stains on your face, RUBBING ALCOHOL gets that shit off but it's harsh af on your skin so moisturize after.
I got my hair done blue ombre last month and just had it retouched a few days ago and washed it for the first time. I am more determined to keep it from fading out this time...I have toning products like Pureology purple shampoo and I just got the Matrix Brass Off mask ...which I will still use because the top of my head is bleached blonde. But I ordered overtone last night. I'm nervous about when it is touch up time because I am blonde to indigo ombre and it's a beautiful balayage. If I get blue on the top it will take because my hair is so lifted.
im so happy i was able to find this video 💖 i’ve had my hair dyed blue for a couple months already and was looking for other ways to maintain it aside from what i already currently do and your tips helped me a lot, thank you for that and thank you for answering a lot of questions i had in my mind and just being overall thorough as possible 😊
My hair has been half blue half purple since August this year. The purple lasts a really long time but the blue fades off the ends in like 2 washes even with colour protection shampoo
The only Manic Panic color I swear by is Alien Grey. It is literally the only dark gray dye I’ve found that lasts and keeps your color from getting muddy. The other colors are trash.
It's crazy because I only use manic panic maybe it's different from 4 years ago because I dyed it blue in May, it's September and still vibrantly blue w zero touchups. It also barely bled at all. Never stained my pillows or clothes.
This is a great video. My hair has been blue for over five years and I have struggled with it bleeding no matter what. My problem is if I sweat in my sleep I’ll wake up completely blue 😅 I’m definitely going to reach out to my hair dresser about which could potentially bleed less.
@@Creative.Cliche hi! That could be an issue for sure. I can check with her next appointment. Do you think it could be the temperature of showers i’m taking affecting how it bleeds? Does cold water showers help with sealing it in? If so then that could be a big issue as well!
I have multicolored blue hair. I was informed that Overtone was actually carpet dye. And the Overtone people told me that if I used the blue for brown hair over my multi shades of blue that it would make all my colors one shade.
What would you mix to make it a slightly darker blue? Currently using Pravana Blue which bleeds like crazy on my neck & hands no matter what so want to try Joico!
i dyed my hair half blue half sliver but now my blue is more like a green-blue and the sliver is muddy as well, i want to dye it midnight blue but i don’t know what to do😭please help
Instant subscriber! Thanks for your amazing, and informative video! The results are stunning! And I do have a question for you...Do you know if this product covers grays? Take care and Happy New Year!
Hi! I have a question, my natural hair color is the same exact tone as your brown. How were you able to lighten it/bleach it so well for the blue? And what bleach brand did you use? Thanks!
My hair is the same as hers, length thickness and color, and I recommend going to a salon/professional for the bleach. I believe this is what she did as well. Bleaching at home is too risky and can be sooooo damaging
What is a good shampoo and conditioner for blue violet hair that people can get locally? because i cant afford things from online as i live out in the country and sometimes it doesn't get to the right address and not all my neighbors are nice enough to send it to me......some love to throw it away. The local brands i have found are not your mothers, matrix total results brass off, shimmer lights, and loreal .
Anything that doesn’t have sulfate in it is good to use, L’Oréal has a lot of great options! For conditioner I always mix some hair dye in it to create my own color depositing formula
In this video you use the dye for a retouch but could it also be used for a fist time dye on bleached blonde hair. Like is it strong enough for that. If you can, do you need to mix it with any developer like 30 volume for it to work better, or can you just put it straight on.
hi! how do u keep your neck from not getting blue ?? i dyed my hair blue and my neck turns blue from it even when dry and idk how to make it stop. help please !
Sometimes that happens to me too, especially when I leave it rest on my neck after dying it! I suggest putting it up in a shower cap after you fully dye it while you’re waiting. I have a huge bulk pack of disposable shower caps that I got from amazon, it works wonders☺️
Hi love you video! I just dyed my hair blue and I'm in love! At a Salon. What do you recommend for grey hairs? Lol It's a little pricey to go for a retouch every two weeks. Should I retouch it myself?
I’ve been using manic panic blue dye and it bleeds like crazy, how much better is the joico dye than the manic panic and how much longer does joico last ?
Manic panic isn’t great for your hair, it’s very striping and bleeds a lot because it’s not high quality. Joico doesn’t bleed on me at all and lasts way longer than most dyes I’ve tried
Hello! I was wondering if it would be okay for me to leave the leftover dye for the next time? Like, would it still work if it was ope and left laying for a month/two?
Is artic fox bad? That’s what I used and it hasn’t stopped bleeding after a few weeks. It got on one of my favorite sweaters and my neck is always blue/gray. Also, what sulfate free shampoo do you recommend? I need to purchase something better for my hair.
How do you remove the blue from your skin? Just got mine done 1month ago for the 1st time and every 3 days I wash it I endure blue everywhere + plus my shower 🤭
Great video! I'm a guy and I used the same hair dye! It's been about 3 months now and I don't know if I should redye it blue or a different color. Do you have any suggestions what to do?
You dont dye your hair beautiful you color it... Its already dead. And Its called deferred products, i love joico but when u but from anywhere besides a licensed retailer theres absolutely no guarantee. I love your blue, try joico peacock green its beautiful
I'm 67 and did my hair with this product. Indigo color. And I'm loving my bluish purple hair now work good on natural Gray old ladies hair.

I Went blue yesterday and I woke looking like a smurf 😢😢🤣🤣
Yes! You’re supposed to dye your hair within 24 hours of washing your hair without conditioner for maximum color deposit.

Hi

This was so therapeutic. Just started my blue journey like 3 months ago and this was so helpful
I use the Paul Mitchell blue and purple and loooooovvvvvveeee them! Color it’s self doesn’t damage the hair
What's the second tube/conditioner thing you were talking about in the beginning of the video?
this girl is so underrated
I thought the same thing. She’s just down to earth but she goes into detail and I live that.
I loved Pravana but it literally stains everything!!!! Even after like weeks after! It stains couches, pillows, shirts! EVERYTHING!!!!!

How do i get the green undertones out from my blue hair?
its basically impossible so just keep in mind to make sure you tone your hair before the dye because blue + yellow makes that green undertone

out of my red phase into BLUE❤
Can’t wait to see it!! Blue is LIFE

What shampoo and conditioner do you use? And how often do you use blue shampoo?
Can do on dark hair ??
My natural hair is s similar to hers. I dyed mine with Splat 30 wash midnight indigo. Better coverage but darker/ more navy blue than her color
I’m mad I just now found your tiktok sis! 💕

I used pravana blue and my neck, hands, clothes had blue rubbing off for DAYS. I bought on Amazon. Probably fake?

Hair color blue
How do u make your blue hair lighter ?? Like u already dyed it blue but u want it lighter
I get it bleached at a salon to a dark blonde then dye over it ☺️
you could always try vitamin c treatments to make it lighter
Is arctic fox a good hair die ?
Dye*
No, it’s an awful dye and the owner/CEO of the company is a horrible person. I love Iroiro or Wella Color Charm Paints.
If I do this how long would my blue hair last
Good job 👍🏻
Awww thank you!!
Why do you semi permanent and not permanent? Because they do have permanent blue hair dye.
Don’t you loss hair everytime you dye it if you do what you do to help ur grow
Does the color ever come out and stain your clothes? 🥺
I used the ion dye and it still bleeds
That’s why I like to use clothes that I don’t care about, especially black since you can’t see the stains and it comes out of the white graphic 👌🏼
