This is my compilation of Sweden Rock Festival 2023. The festival included Def Leppard, Europe, Depp Purple, Lita Ford, Iron Maiden, Ghost, Pantera, Joddla med Siv, Enforcer, Skid Row, Soilwork, Airbourne, Avatar, Mötley Crüe, Smash into pieces, Kamelot, Gojira, Wolfmother, Sator, H.E.A.T, Rancid, Blue Öyster Cult, Powerwolf, Behemoth, Monstee Magnet, Symphony X, Spiritbox, Jinjer, Alter Bridge, Chez Kane, Thundermother, Eradikated, Testament, Clutch, 1349, Korpiklaani, Katatonia, Myrath and more.

Sweden Rock Festival is an annual event in southern Sweden with five stages of all genres of rock. This is my eleventh compilation from the festival, where I talk to people, interview bands and try to showcase why this is the best week of the year.

I'm a \m/etalhead, and really love all kinds of Music ; my #1 Band in the WORLD it's METALLICA. and just watched Their show in GOTHENBURG , SWEDEN. I Love SWEDEN ever since I was a little kid. This was almost Educational to me and now I gotta start making plans so I can check out SWEDEN ROCK FESTIVAL some time soon, Perhaps Next year. Thx U for Posting this , Loved it \m/

Årets höjdpunkt när man inte själv har möjlighet att vara där. Hade gärna sett 1 tim från varje dag, men det här dämpade abstinensen något iaf :) Grymt jobbat och fint att få lite personliga reflektioner mellan all grym musik. Stort tack!!!
@TheSwedishLad Thank you so much for the video. I am from India and visiting Sweden Rock Festival in 2024. I was a little wary of the possibility of racism or people, in general, being cold and unfriendly at the festival. But this looks like such a great, loving, and welcoming crowd. Puts my mind at ease.
This is truly a come as you are event. The love of rock n roll is all you need.

Martin, I got emotional many times watching the video. Going to Sweden Rock Festival were one of the best decisions I have made and one of the best moments of my life. Plus it was really great meeting you and now appearing (2 times!) in your video! Det är en ära :) hope to see you again!
Metting new people is such a big part of this festival, and when you get a chance to run into each-other several times, that's a big bonus. Thank you for being a part in making this such a wonderful week. Hope to see you again too.

Been watching your videos on/off since I was 14 and wanting to learn swedish. My band started touring the UK regularly last year and it's a dream of mine to play a fest in sweden, glad you had a good time :)

My dad has worked as a driver for Sweden Rock for several years, and this year was my first year going there and it was an incredible experience. Going from seeing so many amazing band in a scene and scale I hadn't before, even if you were hundreds of meters away from the show you still felt the impact from the drums and such, unbelieveable.
Then I also got kicked off the buss on my way to my staying because the other passengers felt I pressed the stop button too often and eventually kicked me out because the bus driver didn't know what the actual stops he meant to stop at was. So whenever I pressed the stop button he would just stop and open the doors at the first bus stop he saw, not the bus stop he was meant to stop at. Got kicked out, had to walk 3 kilometers on foot to get to my lodging at 11PM while already being exhausted from being at the festival for about 10 hours or so too, got stopped by a cop when I was almost at my caravan to ask me wtf I was doing and then asked me to do a sober test, passed that and got sent on my way. Good times!
I love Katatonia, hopefully i will participate in this festival one day
So cool to hear other places acknowledge Axl Rose. Another rocking icon from Indiana. Most of my friends and I were in bands dreaming of that national and international recognition. I've known some very incredibly talented people that's for sure!
You missed that Axl Rose was the biggest rockstar on earth like 30 years ago? ;)

i never thought i would watch the whole video bacause of my adhdbrain but man you really caught my interest with the way youve structured the video. Really funny and interesting stuff and i love sweden rock, the metal heads are the coolest kindest and funniest people to socialize with 😎

@@footingball5566 Oftast ingen större panik, var det 2019 när Maiden spelade första gången biljetterna rök rätt snabbt? Håll ett öga på Ticketmaster, står det "fåtal kvar" är det dags att bestämma sig. Huvudbanden släpps i samband med biljettsläpp, sen kommer det mindre bandsläpp hela våren.

Not too many bands with growling vocals. I am not a fan of it and managed to go the entire festival without any of them and also lost several bands I liked to clashes because there are just so many good ones.

There were a few, but mostly because of the dust in the air.
Not a single migrant in sight... no wonder the atmosphere is great and there is no violence, it's homogenous and very western... sry but it's the truth... compare this to
other public events and places of recreation and fun like the amusement parks and public water parks.
I saw nice headbanging people from all over the world , from Brazil, mexico , france , England, and some Other countries including myself from Chile and it was magic! Heavy metal and the world unite , whereever you are from! We are as one at Sweden rock !!! Cheers!!!
