This was discovered. Even way back in the 16th century. This is an absolute Masterpiece.

What civilization built this, and when? This narrative is difficult to believe. Also, no original records, no blueprints, and for our standards impossible to replicate let alone build on a "16th century" marsh with no electricity etcetera. It's just odd.

      Was immer richtig war:
      Die (bedingungslose) Liebe...
(Fast) ALLES (andere), was/wie wir (und unsere Eltern) unser Leben bisher verbracht haben, war falsch...
      Liebe Grüße...

Much too much dramatic music and language. It is nearly 10 minutes before there is anything about the actual building but even then there is lflowery language about how wonderful the building is with very little information.

@@georgeway2092Pretty sure the point of having a place to comment - is to comment. I wonder why you are so threatened by the fact that someone else does not prefer the drama that you seem to support?

To exalt the King, the laborers suffered and died. These massive grandiose ego projects cost the French treasury exorbitant amounts of money that they couldn't really afford, and once again the lower classes suffered. Finally, the French people had enough of it and revolted. The first to see their bodies forced onto Madame Guillotine's slab were the rich elites and their cronies! Makes me wonder what the King's Musketeers thought of the extravagant lifestyles of the monarchy!

Kings built palaces for the same reason that Pharaohs built pyramids for the same reason: to show off their wealth and be comfortable. The only difference is that Pharaohs believed that their good life in the monument would be after death, and kings wanted to enjoy their palaces while they were alive. In the case of this palace, the vain and ambitious French king neither enjoyed it while alive nor was he buried in it. And everyone talks more about the architect Leonardo da Vinci than about the king who commissioned the palace.😂😂😂
