    This is exactly what I’ve been looking for! Mazda has so many trims and it’s not as popular as the civics, so I’ve been having trouble finding a video on the preferred trim. Thanks for this!

    i have a 2021 Mazda3 Turbo PP sedan that i bought last summer and i love that car maybe a few things i don't like but it's more nitpicking if i really had to point out negatives about the car. one of the main reasons i chose Mazda instead of it's competitors was the transmission option... NO CVT!! glad Mazda is one of the very few car companies that still offer regular auto transmission

    • @IWeasel

      @@risalatzaman7675I have a 2022 Nissan Altima and of course it’s a cvt and it’s great it doesn’t really moan like the older ones did unless your starting off slowly from a stand still but I get amazing gas mileage close to 500 miles on a full tank of gas.
      Many people disliked the cvts because they use to have problems and always broke down and had transmission failures and they didn’t like the continuous lawnmower sound and rubber band feeling, and thruway geared for fuel economy so they don’t take off quickly but once your going and hit the gas it’s instant power no gears although they put fake simulated shifts to make it feel more like a traditional automatic transmission.

      Same here, but my 2021 turbo is a premium hatch. I do like the fact Mazda still uses a normal torque converter auto (and it's pretty good) but I do wish they had figured out how to make the manual work with the AWD system, or alternately offer the turbo in FWD with a manual. Other than that, my complaints are very minor..and passing power is no issue with this little rocket.😎

    • @jbm0866
      @jbm0866 7 หลายเดือนก่อน

      @@risalatzaman7675Mostly based on early CVT's having a reputation for being unreliable, expensive to replace..and also feeling "weird" with no gears. Modern CVT's are much better with reliability, and most makes have figured out how to simulate gears and make it seem more like a normal auto box. I still prefer either a regular torque converter auto or manual though.

    When it comes to value and looks, the Mazda 3 and the Nissan Sentra are the best, although the reliability and premium quality in the 3 is superior. So I can say confidently taht the Mazda 3 is the best option among the compact sedans.

    I tested drive the car..2022.. the brake..I had to press so much down ..its hard and wants me to put so much force to make car stop. Civic just a touch and brake was there.. not sure new models are all like this. Having said that I really loved the car.

      for new cars it may take a bit more pressure to stop the car than usual because the brake pads and rotors are new and need to be broken in. It was the same on this one and my 2022 Porsche 718 GT4 and also previous new cars I've had in the past; after a few hundred miles it is like any other car.

    I have a 2021 turbo hatch (thankfully bought before the chip shortage thing fully kicked in so I got a good deal) and I'm the opposite when it comes to self steering. Being in the computer software industry I know software can have glitches (we all know this) as well as electronics. Combine those two things with a bit of age on the car and how long will it be before people are driving their car on 2 lane (coming and going) back road and the car suddenly veers into oncoming traffic without any driver input? I feel the same about automatic emergency braking. I haven't had any issues yet but a number of people (not just Mazda) have reported their car slamming on the brakes for no reason. No thank you to that...when it comes to steering and brakes I'd rather be in control. Overall I have very few complaints about this car, and the ones I do have are things I was aware of before purchase. I'm 6'1" and have to carefully duck my head getting in, and no fully grown person can sit behind my drivers seat😂

    Good video , I think the knob to control the nav system kind reminds me of the Mercedes.. with that being said I like the fact it mimics luxury vehicles however not using a touch screen is deff something to get used to! I also think the exterior grill reminds me of the Lexus.

      I was gonna buy a Lexus(before realizing it would be borderline financial suic**e for me) but when I saw the grill of the Mazda3 and the luxurious looking/feeling interior and the pricepoint in comparison, the choice was all but clear. 2023 Mazda3 Sedan Carbon Edition is the way to go imo.

    Things I hate about the Mazda 3: the key fob is bulky, infotainment display isn't also a touchscreen, no wireless cell phone charging pad, no usb ports for rear passengers, and very little leg room for rear passengers. With that said, the leg room issue is the main detractor for me. However, I really like this car, especially in the Carbon Edition. The 2022 Honda Civic Touring has all the tech amenities, but there's just so many Hondas on the road. And I don't want to blend in. I want to stand out. Decisions, decisions. Lol.

    • @gentianmedia3814
      @gentianmedia3814  2 ปีที่แล้ว

      not a bad problem to have! personally i like the key fob, i don't mind the infotainment display not being touchscreen because it is kept clean all the time and you get used to the wheel, wireless charging pad and rear usb would be nice, and it also has less space in the back as compared to to the civic. throughout the video I was comparing the 3 to the previous gen civic (

    • @pineful4861
      @pineful4861 2 ปีที่แล้ว

      Nice thing with the carbon edition is its on par with the touring for a lot of the nice features while being quite a bit cheaper. I was with you originally on the leg room but I don't see myself carrying rear seat passengers around enough for it to matter to me.

    A few things you got wrong when mentioning the select trim “ the steering wheel, gear shifter, and the dashboard is actually real leather”
    The preferred package is a sweet deal but considering I have a 22 Altima brought it brand new it was actually the price of the Mazda in the video which basically bare-bones only safety feature it has is emergency braking which doesn’t work unless your almost on the bumper of the other car and the emergency breaking doesn’t work there’s no CarPlay or android auto as standard as they did in 2018-2021 the deleted a host of features.
    But either trim level would be nice I’d take the select because it has everything I want and I’ve had vehicles with sunroofs and which I never used them I had no idea these little cars were so freaking sexy

    Dude .. yiu forgot to mention the automatic gearbox in this car is slow and woeful.. just woeful and lack of power at bottom end and you constantly rev it up to keep up the speed. So you end up with high fuel consumption. Don't know why those idiots at Mazda think of when they program the software for then gearbox. Just very slow to match the engine. The smallest Hyundai can eat this Mazda alive and day and I am not saying I need to drive hard. Just normal traffic and this car just let down by the automatic gear shift
