Some extra prayer (salah), other than what’s obligatory, can be kept in our first aid kit when something unpleasant befalls us, to seek Allah’s help which will lessen the burden. In extreme hardship one can turn to tahajjud to calm the soul. It’s an effective way to ease the pain.

I think the main point is cbt and get therapy, maybe it'll be helpful to demonstrate how we can do the islamic version if cbt ourselves
