Kang Daniel was apart of Wanna One, which disbanded December 31 2018. Wanna One was an 11 member ed boy group formed by the second season of ‘Produce 101’ a Show that takes 101 trainees from a multitude of companies. The top 11 trainees at the end of the show debut as a ‘temp’ group, meaning the group is SET to disband. groups that were formed from other seasons of the show are I.O.I and X1; also IZ*ONE is another from the produce series (if they don’t renew their contracts by April 2021 the group automatically disbands) Kang Daniel actually was voted #1 trainee and thus was the Center of Wanna One. February 2019 he signed with LM entertainment, and in March the same year he filled suspension of the contract due to their inability to manage his career, they abandoned fans and cancelled all of his events. In June of 2019 he established his one-man agency Konnect Entertainment, he is the only artist and the CEO of the company (so he is his own boss). In July of 2019 he debuted as a Soloist with “What are you up to” a couple of his other songs i recommend are (in order of release) • What Are You Up To • Touchin’ • 2U • Waves (feat. Jamie and Simon Dominic) • Who U Are • Movie (feat. Dvwn) fun fact you probably don’t know : in August of 2019 it was revealed that Daniel and Jihyo (TWICE) were dating, sadly though in November of 2020 it was told to us fans that they have broken up due to conflicting and busy schedules.
