Dan Deacon is a very cool dude and a spectacular musician and composer. He was the reason I started getting into weird and experimental pop and electro music. The way he uses gear in such unorthodox means and his compositions being so tightly written yet so loose and free-form is just amazing. Gliss Riffer is in my top five albums of the year so far.

God, this is by far my favorite Dan Deacon song. He hits a new feeling of music, that he hasn't reached until now.
I would say "now i have seen everything", but knowing the internet, i will never get to that level.
Deacon's music videos always express the beauty in the messy things we call life IMO at least. This video, to me, represents the self-discovery of life with a bit of nonsense. For some reason it really makes me want to get married too.
None of the tracks on America really grabbed me at first, and I ended up loving the album anyway. So the fact that I already love this bodes very well for my future purchase. Even if this song's a bit more poppy than the others as is often the case with this sort of thing, things are off to a great start.
