I agreed. So many Germans trying to kill you especially the tiger tank try to search for you. I try So hard to stay alive. But I love the game tho

It's a similar situation with the brigade box stage as well.
The bren or the gueller
The mp44 as a backup weapon as they help heaps along with hurling some gas cannisters protecting from the opponents mg42 plus even the army tank arrives towards the end of the level

Play very differently than you.
Can't take these kinda risks especially on veteran mode
Gotta play conservatively .
In the first objective
Usually switch by nicking the opponents weapons a high majority of the times get the mp40 until the town hall meeting the gap between the two buildings but, first I switch the cam to the gueller rifle.
Once clear the town hall switch the mp40 to the mp44
That makes it heaps easier to get through from one objective to another way on veteran mode
