Di cya nanalong Best Actress. Fast forward MMFF 2024 avenging mother ng rape victim role nya ..Di pa rin cya nanalo ? Why? In my own personal opinion hindi nag translate ang character sa Star for all seasons .....su Miss Vilma Santos ang na rape sa Rubia Serbios, at again si Vilma Santos ulet ang nag revenge sa Uninvited. Meaning si Vilma ang nakikita ko at hindi yung character nya . Arguably, the Star for all Season is a good movie star ....pero nasayang yung brilliance nya kasi Di na exploit yung depth ng character pumasok sa katauhan nya. Unlike yung kay Amy Austria sa Brutal na pinapanood mo si Monica at hindi si Amy, sa Moral naawa ka sa character ni Gina Alajar or si Lorna Tolentino sa Moral din na amoy na amoy mo ang baho ng bibig nya sa sigarilyo at Di mo ma makita na cya si LT na elegant lady or Si Jacklyn Jose na nagtitinda ng Shabu sa Ma Rosa at damang dama mo ang character nya through her eyes at never mo makita cya na cya si Jacklyn Jose na artista. My two cents.

It's unfortunate the MMFF 50 failed to recognize the excellent performances of the actors in the movie. Why Aga Mulach was not even nominated for Best Actor taints the integrity of the awards. He doesn't have to emerge winner if ayaw nila sa kanya. But to not even be nominated? Why? MMFF's spokesman has no explanation. I hope Uninvited shall be redeemed in due time by the other prestigious award giving bodies.

Si Bong Go lang naman ang pro-Duterte run. Ang ibang Senators na andun like Tolentino, Jinggoy at yung kandidato sa pagka-Senador na si Abalos puro mga Bagoong Pilipinas yan. Pati sponsors sila Tambaloslos at mga government agencies na kontrolado ng Malakanyang, and yung host city ang Mayor na si Honey Lacuna ay pro-Admin din, so kung mapupulitika si Ate Vi, malamang hindi Duterte ang magpapakana run kundi yung administrasyon ni Marcos.

Naka pagtataka nga lang na wala itong nakuha kahit isang major awards Di rin nano minate si Aga as best actor. Affected ba ang sensibilities ng mga jurors dahil hindi ito pambata, pang pamilya, pangkalikasan atbp. Sana hindi na lang ipinasa para lang snubbin pagkatapos. Masyado mataas ang 4.5stars mo Butch. Really? Biased ka lang dahil Vilma film. Yes she was good but she didn’t do anything that we haven’t seen in Tagos ng Dugo. She was more compelling there. But still good performance. Aga was a let down. I would have wanted a more internal/psychological approach for this character and sadly I didn’t see it. He was way way better in Sa Aking Mga Kamay. I agree that he was not nominated. Real talk. Nadine was very good except for the last scene with Vilma. Pagod na ata umiyak. I would’ve wanted more dramatic flair from her because the incest was finally revealed but kulang eh. Sayang. Napagod. Dahil hindi actor’s director si Dan Villegas , hindi nabantayan ang acting performances. Si Vilma nabaril ang braso pero ang lakas pa rin manutok ng baril, gets mo ba. Tsaka naghahanap ako ng more “film language” sa film which I didn’t see. It would have been a better film I guess if meron mga ganun. Maganda pa rin naman. Pero mataas ang 4.5 stars. 3 lang siguro.

I agree with you that the presence of Vilma in all of her film is worth watching. Aside from the fact that she is a great actress.

It's unfortunate the MMFF 50 failed to recognize the excellent performances of the actors in the movie. Why Aga Mulach was not even nominated for Best Actor taints the integrity of the awards. He doesn't have to emerge winner if ayaw nila sa kanya. But to not even be nominated? Why? MMFF's spokesman has no explanation. I hope Uninvited shall be redeemed in due time by the other prestigious award giving bodies.

Masyado mataas ang 4.5stars mo Butch. Really? Biased ka lang dahil Vilma film. Yes she was good but she didn’t do anything that we haven’t seen in Tagos ng Dugo. She was more compelling there. But still good performance. Aga was a let down. I would have wanted a more internal/psychological approach for this character and sadly I didn’t see it. He was way way better in Sa Aking Mga Kamay. I agree that he was not nominated. Real talk. Nadine was very good except for the last scene with Vilma. Pagod na ata umiyak. I would’ve wanted more dramatic flair from her because the incest was finally revealed but kulang eh. Sayang. Napagod. Dahil hindi actor’s director si Dan Villegas , hindi nabantayan ang acting performances. Si Vilma nabaril ang braso pero ang lakas pa rin manutok ng baril, gets mo ba. Tsaka naghahanap ako ng more “film language” sa film which I didn’t see. It would have been a better film I guess if meron mga ganun. Maganda pa rin naman. Pero mataas ang 4.5 stars. 3 lang siguro.
