I got 2 Bedards in the same box, i got very lucky, i heard a few collectors who bought a case and didn't get any Bedards.
So he's definitely short printed
It could be the case, but I've seen people rip 10+ cases and they averaged 2.9 base rookies per case which is pretty much what the odds are haha (also congrats on the huge pulls!)
Out of all the products out, I still love OPC. Great rip! Hanif
Heck of a loaded box there. Platinum Preview, Lenticular Rookie and the Gold Premier along with the colored parallels. Best box rip so far that I've seen. I'm a huge fan of OPC and hopefully I'll get a chance to rip some boxes.
It's a lot of fun and yeah I was stoked about the 3D rookie haha!

I would say the Rookies and stars is the best ROI.b. print run is very small at only 22k sets made.
Dont get me wrong pulling couple case hit cards are AWESOME!!!!!! but for the price point of this product is high!!!!

Pulled a Conner Bedard base card in my first hobby box. Makes me think the population count will be astronomical
The base rookies should fall 2.9 per case or so, so 1 in every 5.5ish boxes. Congrats on the pull!

Bedard is for sure short printed...Ive watched 4 breaks and they all have Black Hawk rookies, but no Bedard in sight

22-23 SP Authentic or 23-24 Artifacts ? These Bedard Marquee rookies are gonna be wayyyy over printed. Mcdavids card is worth like $80 ffs. Bedard isn't gonna lead the league in points any time soon.
Oh yeah, expecting his OPC rookie to stay this high is nuts (but I do think he's got a chance to lead the league in points in ~5ish years). OPC rookies are never the most valuable in the modern era, but I don't think it's that much more of a print run than previous years.
It's a super fun set where you get a ton of unique cards for a pretty low cost compared to the rest of the product line, so if you're opening on a budget it makes it really compelling.
In terms of 22-23 SPA vs 23-24 Artifacts, I'd *probably* lean Artifacts, but that's another set that tends to decline a little over time too.
@@zephyrepic ya you're right about Bedard in a few years and there are def some nice parallels and chase cards this year in the OPC set besides just the base Marquee rookie, don't mean to hate on it at all.
And as far as the SPA vs Artifacts I'm just looking for something to rip, it's been a couple months and ive only been buying singles really lately, or maybe just wait for series 2 in a few weeks and chase that YG like everyone else lol.

Gah our reply didn't come in! Honestly SPA or Artifacts are both fun rips. If you like foil cards, I always have fun with 2022-23 Allure too (I like it a bit more than 2021-22, even though the rookie crop is worse).
