In theory, the total number of bits would be irrelevant. The focus is on the total number of 1's being an even or odd amount. In your 32 bit example, using an imaginary binary code of; 0010 0001 0101 1110. Here we have seven 1's - now 7 is an ODD number. Now if the parity number used is 0 then this is an ODD PARITY. If it is a 1 then it will be an EVEN PARITY (7 + 1 = 8 bits). Hope that makes sense!

I got the "light bulb" moment at 3.50 onwards - now it makes sense. I now have a 1 in the part of my brain where it was previously a 0...
Why i feel like India has the best studies of technology?
It's like they can solve any problems.
Sorry about the misunderstood comment.
Why indian study not best
Indian is best 👌 ever and forever ❤️
Eh name a known Indian tech company
@@coop4476 Noo, i meant solving problems. 😂
@@MrJuulia01 ok, good, good lol
Yeah because there are too many unemployed engineers in india with less or no coding skills
I have no words for thanks you
Your all video is the best.
Thanks mam
Indian teachers are so good at teaching! Finally learned how to do it.
*Thanks again for your the Best Guidelines*
thank very much ma'am,was little confused with this topic previously but now i got clear picture about this.
thankkkk alot !! this is very clear for me, at first im cofusing this method with XOR.
Seriously that's it, i learned in my class like for 5 hours to learn that topic :(
Hahahaha, I can related
i can relate except that even after 5 hours i didn't learn anything :(
Thank you , your way to describe is good and undestable

Thank you mam 👍🏻😁
Thank you very much, this video help me out from confusion
SIGNIFICANTLY CLEAR
Thank you for helping me
Nice explained 🙏🙏
This is trustable channel 👍👍👍
Thank you so much this helped me for my logic circuit class!
Dank you very much
Great explanation.
If there is an 8bit register and 7 bits are allotted to magnitude but it has a negative sign. Then how parity code will work?
I am clear from your lecture
helped a lot thanks
Thank u so much madam
Thanks it's help me🥰
Previous video??
I just understand it thank you
Calculate the one-dimension parity bits for following codewords:
a) 010010011
Thanks
Thanks Mam!!
very helpfull
nice explanation mam
I really like south Indian accent of English
Mam can you plz tell me which parity bit is used in mobile phone and why
your are best teacher..It was more helpful for me
Thanks for the guidance
So helpfull
but how do you detect the error in a parity check/ parity bit
if we add parity bit.............then wt about its decimal value
Thanks mam
❤❤❤❤
btw this solution is wrong for IGCSE syllabus
Mam in last example you made a mistake kindly recheck it
4:00 you forgot to add another 1.....
Best Explanation.
Tq mam
What if the bit is, 0000
Plz be louder Mam 🙏🙏
Expected better. But it make no sense just repeating a one word. Parity.
Small and good
Even the parity bit of 0101011 is 1: true or fulse
Best👍

you make 5 min video out of my 1 hour lecture and I'll give you views.
That's my deal for all youtubers out there
I didn't understand a sigle bit- nor 0 nor 1👎
Then u dumb😂😂😂
THANK YOU SOO MUCH
Thank you🎉
Thanks so much but your work is not seen clearly
Thats it! Thanks mam, what about you guys studing on youtube after paying fees to the university😂😂🙃
I did not get u well please
