As a boy we couldn't Go to church without watching the Bountiful Blessings broadcast on BET. Bishop was America's Bishop...and we were Baptist. God's word knows no denomination. Thank you Bishop Patterson for always encouraging me.

I thank God ForBishop GE Paterson. My mom use to listen to him every sunday at 8:30 am and she would call us all. I would listen and then I got saved. That wasover 20 yrs ago. I grew up a.m.e.zion methodist church. I Love Jesus and it amazes me how Bishop is still winning Souls as he rest in peace. To God Be The Glory.What a MAN Of God.

Yes, Bless God! I remember meeting Bishop when I was about 11yrs old in the family life center. My God, shaking his hand even at that time was an honor! Something that ill always cherish. To God be the glory for the things He has done. I am the #ChurchofGodInChrist!

It's amazing how things have changed since Bishop has been gone. I see familiar faces that have gotten older, it's crazy Bishop has been gone this long. I know one thing if he was here after that I know the LORD will make a way there would have been a crazy praise break.

You didn't have to be a member of the organization CHURCH OF GOD IN CHRIST to know that BISHOP G.E. PATTERSON was in and of the body of CHRIST for he served us well.
EVERY BELIEVER IS IN THE CHURCH OF GOD IN CHRIST AND WE KNOW THAT BISHOP G E WAS CALLED BY GOD TO PREACH AND TEACH THE GOSPEL. HEY GLORY...PRAISE GOD!
We were fed scrumptiously time and time again by his ministry which was the continuous work of Christ.
So many would view his broadcast to hear the word of God preach and taught by this Humble, Anointed God Man. And let the truth be told, many Pastors and leaders worldwide not of the organization cogic were watching too.
He is missed but not forgotten and if we continue on the journey, we will see him again.
May the Lord continue allowing his blessings to flow with and through TOD.

The year Bishop Patterson passed away (2007) was the year I had decided to go to his church to hopefully hear him in person. Unfortunately, he passed away before our trip. So glad his preaching and teachings can still be heard. Lady Patterson you are beautiful and still a blessing to the body of Christ. Thank you for helping to keep your husband's legacy alive.

Bishop Patterson made a great impact on my life. In the early 80's, I would watch him on cable in Baton Rouge, LA. I never knew that one day he would be my Presiding Bishop and I would get to see him. His legacy will live on. He was a true disciple of God. Miss but much love he shared with the people of God.

Grumble if you need to, life is not a bed of roses and sometimes the saints grumble because it all feels and gets too much. Sometimes what makes it harder is when the brethren inside the house who declare Jesus are treating you as bad just like those out in the world do to you.The important thing is, try to learn from your mistakes and try never to despair. It is a sorry depth to reach, but I'm just rising up out of there. Never let anybody beat you down on your head with their few minutes of pride and badmouthing about how weak you are. Just remember to do what I failed to do, just call on Jesus. Pray and tell him how you are feeling, tell him when you're happy and tell him when you pissed off. Never lie to God. He can handle the truth, in fact the truth shows him that you actually are honest. Tc

There a Patterson in my family tree that in NY they are Holmes my grand mother and dad family members.
I found out after my dad funeral my cousin my aunt daughter have me a list of address of my family of my dad he live in Newark
my grandma went to Orange Baptist church Iowa Holmes
I went to her church since a baby from the hospital
she would share to the church that they pray for me.
each time she needed prayer for her grandchildren of her son David Holmes and daughter Jean Webb was my grandmother and her husband children.
her daughter had 4 children
her son had 8 children
Iowa Holmes has 12 grandchildren
she has 22 great grands
she has 37 great greats grandchildren
Iowa and her husband Holmes
generation to generation blessing prayer that was spoken as children.
So glade to know my grand parents loved and help and gave than receive from the Lord.

Don't mean to be cynical but I find this video somewhat jarring in that it seems as though his legacy is far more embraced by the nation than the very church he founded. They seemed a bit detached from his memory so much so that Lady Patterson spoke as though she was a visiting guest marketing and promoting, I dare not say, compelling members of her own church to support the achievement.

Not to be mean, but I feel as though Bishop Hawkins as much as he loved his uncle contributed to what you're saying. Mostly during the first years of Hawkins pastoring , the bar was set low after the first few months in everything & the transition was rough & I think Hawkins wasn't a big help
