  • Anyone who has proof to the contrary is challenged to produce it, I have never abused my office, amassed wealth or done anything that is against civil service rules or any law known to man. Alpha Trust Investment Club is registered with CAC and our loan arm is registered with the Lagos State government as a cooperative describing us as a limited company is a fallacy

    I have known CP Adeoye Aderemi since around 2010-2013 if i'm not mistaken when he was the DPO Rumuokoro Police Station Port Harcourt Rivers State. He was a good man. He does not tolerate oppressing of citizens by his men. I witnessed him discipline his erring officers and serve justice to the citizens. I visited his station and office several times as a banker. He encouraged his offers and men to save and invest in shares especially mutual funds then. He regularly gave me opportunity to lecture his officers and men on banking products. His love for investment was second to none. He attended foreign courses at his own expense which he shares his experience with me when i come visiting. He is the ONLY Police Officer i can call a GOOD MAN. Just that i lost contact with him when he was first redeployed to Abuja from Port Harcourt then. CP Adeoye Aderemi is a GOOD MAN. He is an intelligent man.

    Double Chief/CP Adeoye, I salute your maturity, temperament, eloquence and diction in the face of media bullying. The media will always be seen to ask the right questions in d interest of the general public while performing their role as the watchdog of d society. It's the responsibility of the interviewee to provide answers to those questions. CP Adeoye maintained his calm and provided answers. Although Abati bullied him, but the CP's maturity is admirable. The crew asked questions the public would have asked if given d opportunity. CP Adeoye didn't fair badly. Kudos to him! Meanwhile, I don't know why we can't celebrate someone if they did well but always want to find a way to bring them down, this is not journalism this is bullying someone in the name of interviewing, what a shame, and Abati could not hide his inferiority complex, why shouting you are older than someone you don't know his date of birth that's unprofessional, Arise crew needs to do better, you are to do proper investigation before bringing your guest on national TV, I'm very disappointed in rufai asking for account record of another man investment, are you now working with efcc oh this is bad journalism, you doing your interview based on ear say.....that I'm disappointed is an understatement.......

    Now, on this interview, it is sad that Dr Abati was visibly angry at a guest and was deploying primitive sentiments like age, etc to cow a seasoned guest that knows his onions. Rufai needs a lot to learn when it comes to finance and business world. A non public company is not mandated to have an audited financial statements.
    Overall, the gentleman was calm, collected and very brilliant. He demolished all fallacies and inuendos that accompanied those questions, as well as use logic of facts to explain all that transpired without allowing his emptions to get in the way. Dr Abati wanted to do damage control towards the end, but the cat was out of the bag already. He should be commended for hustling honestly and lawfully, instead of taking bribes and abusing Nigerian citizens and systems, as do most of his colleagues.

      This is is not firmness. This is bullying, judgemental and being confident in ignorance!!! They apparenlty came to 'expose him' and 'shame him', thinking their 'only source', a write up from another one of them, is infallible!! They didn't even know how ponzi scheme runs. And the way Rufai Oseni asked that he should 'submit' the audited account to him could only attract such an answer he got. He lacked tact in asking some types of questions thinking bullying will always get him his expected response.

Nigerians are not stupid, they know an honest person when they see one, and they will stand by the honest person even when the Abatis and Rufais have an off day. Keep it up, Nigerians, we must separate those who served the country dedicatedly from the crooks who abused us and abused their offices.

The idiot Abati was even raising his voice at a CP! What a shame.

    BIG Thumbs up for CP Double Chief CP Aderemi Adeoye for tutoring my big boss, Reuben Abati and My Brother and Colleague, Rufai Oseni. As Journalists, we should learn to do our investigations very well devoid of sentiments and personal interest. It is obvious from this conversation that both Reuben Abati and Rufai Oseni came looking for what is not lost. I am not a member of the Club, neither have I ever heard about or met Rtd CP Double Chief Aderemi, but he just proved himself as a man who knows his onions. Once again , kudos sir.

I invested in ATIC and my money is not missing. And I will continue to invest in it, God keeping me alive. I read the Segun Adeniyi's verdict and felt pity for him because he was not well informed. And he failed to do proper investigation and ask proper questions. He just wrote about something he does not know anything about. It seems he was doing a hatchet job for some people somewhere. It is quite unfortunate how the mighty are falling. Congratulations to Uncle Remi Adeoye. You are our shining star and no one can quench your light. CP Adeoye this is a testament of a good symbol of Nigeria police and the Nation. He has educated us on how not to die waiting endlessly for pension which may never come. He prepared his retirement investing without embezzling public fund. He used his foresight and knowledge to prepare ahead of time, therefore has committed no sin.
    Adeoye served in Igboland and therefore has Igboman investment spirit.

    On a couple of occasions, I love the professionalism and type of questions that Abbati and Ruffai put forward however, this is not one of those times. there are other obvious questions I was expecting them to ask which were not even touched. Ayo Mario-Ese did the best job this morning. Kudos Ayo!
    The type of questions Ruffai asked this morning, is either 1 of many things, either he wants to just test the waters and see if this guy will be a push-over or Baba just wants to ask for the sake of asking, or Baba no even know wetin him dey talk. How will you be asking for the audited books of a non-public company? Baba even asked, "With a court order can we get the audited report? That made baba sound like he had more interest in this case than his job."
    For Dr/General Abbati 😂😂😂, this is not the first time Baba is bringing up his age to the job. There was a time Baba lashed out at a reporter funny enough this is a colleague at Arise, I think it was Mary Chinda or so because that one called him Reuben or something. You can leave your age at home and just do the job. I would expect that with his number of years doing this job, he should know that there is a lag in transmission sometimes between when you speak in the studio and when people will hear at the other end (outside the studio), that might have been the case here. The way he raised his voice and brought up this age thing, in my opinion, seemed to be an obvious come-back for the CP when the guy asked for the clip where he claimed to be a billionaire earlier and said he was shocked that an erudite journalist would simply run with a story that they never researched. Many of us do not trust men of the NPF, that includes me, but there might be 1 or 2 of them that mean well. If Abbati did have the evidence/fact the guy asked for at his disposal, baba for just bring am up or say I don't have it readily handy, but I will pass it on to you once I have it available. However, overall, I like the way he closed it out the conversation. That was professionally done.
    I think there might still be some more pressing questions that can still be asked - The CP said 'members' in 1 breadth, then in the next talks about their members buying shares while insisting they not a company. What is the real nomenclature here, are they, members or shareholders? This is an important question since it is only Public / Private Limited companies that sell shares. So is this a PLC, LTD, Sole proprietorship, Partnership, NGO, Limited by Guarantee, or an Incorporated Trustee etc.
    Even though I believe there are still questions that can be asked the CP but I must give it to him, the dude came somewhat prepared to answer the questions and he detailed out is responses reasonably.

    • @tundechris
      @tundechris 14 วันที่ผ่านมา +6

      Let me answer you on the question of buying shares. In cooperatives registered under the Lagos state govt, this is a norm. You buy and sell cooperative shares. It not the same as shares of publicly quoted companies. An otherwise apt description for cooperative shares will be tokens. The market of cooperative shares is regulated by the Lagos state cooperative guidelines. Nothing unusual here. Na normal thing bro!
      I also found your posers very interesting too. Well done for your sound analysis.
