After doing my intermediate, I set off to Kota, the dream destination of medical aspirants and set out on my journey to qualify for pre-medical test so as to set apart a seat in a prestigious medical college. This would also set back my graduation as I was going to take a drop year so as to focus on getting admission in a medical college. When I set down at the junction, I saw that Kota is crammed with students from all over the country. Some were there for setting off their journey to engineering colleges, and some were, like me for becoming future doctors. I was set on to work hard as it is required to crack any competitive exam in the country. I got admissions in one of the prestigious medical coaching institutes in the city that was set up several years back and so the faculty members were also well experienced and aware of the exam pattern. They set out the concepts of each topic articulately. I set aside all the distractions and attended classes meticulously. I set down notes of every topic and every subject. I was set to do whatsoever required to achieve my dream of becoming a medical professional. But destiny has set aside something different for me and therefore I could not crack the exam. So lastly, I took admission in a state owned college and pursued my graduation. And there, to my astonishment, I was set apart from the entire college in my knowledge that I gained in my struggling days in Kota. My struggle has paid me off!!!
