The goblet squat is a game changer for me . I have an all in one home gym in my small apartment and was seriously considering buying the optional leg press attachment but I always backed out cause there's just not enough space to accommodate it. I did this today as I said. It kicked my ass with light weight. It was nice not have to load plates! The pull throughs were effective...can't wait to wake up and see how I did...I'm feeling comfortably worked. Thank you. Your videos are priceless.
I live in a gated apt community. The gym here is very limited but the one thing it has is a cable machine for arms, chest , back...etc. THIS encourages me bc I now know what leg exercises I can do. Thank you Erin.

Thanks for the great video. On a cable machine these exercises feel a lot different than I'm used to and that's in a good way, because it means I'm hitting the muscles in ways they're unaccustomed to. I made the mistake of doing heavy movements BEFORE the reverse lunges and banged my low knee hard into the floor, lesson learned, don't try that when your legs are spent. I did use about half of these to create a new leg day routine to rotate in and it feels like it's an effective workout, I can sure feel it next day. I bought an XMark functional trainer because of the wide variety of exercises it enables me to do, at home, without having to wait for the cable machine at the gym. The functional trainer was the final piece for the home gym I began 20 years ago, in a 35' x 17' space, but if I were starting over, it would be the first thing I would buy. Now, I have 4 different push day routines, 3 different pull day routines and 3 different leg day routines and have to believe that will maximize results, minimize overuse injury and keep the muscles as confused as possible.

I have patellar chondromalacia, so finding an intense leg workout without hurting my knees is really hard. Cable machine really helps with playing with the angles and finding a way to train legs, thank you for these exercises !

Appreciated Erin, I admire you since I heard about you and followed your videos, they seemed good to me. 1 year ago, training; I got injured by a bad move doing a squat and went to the hospital. I hurt my lower back and it affected the sciatic nerve. After 6 months, I was able to retrain and this video is helping me to recover quickly. I did this workout and it was awesome does better than barbell squats which I never thought could be beat. Thank you so much for doing this Am 66 and thinking about compeating when I am 70 have lost 55 pounds so far in a year 20-25 more to go then want to gain 30 pounds of muscle I will be doing this workout again.
Greetings from Australia. Great legs session..I also use cable when i want to increase the intensity on my quads , hamstrings ,glutes and calves. I love the fact I can focus even more on one cable system and focus also with a constant tension on the muscles. Great option and I find more exciting to have a heavy session with compounds exercises and then more insulation with the cable. Thank you....

Used this exact movements when I was rehabilitating a hip and lower back strain. They are so effective and the contractions so good, I use these and other variations in my normal workout.
Did this workout today. Pretty great Erin. One thing is the front split squat. The plates kept moving and sliding making it less safe as a whole movement.
I did my leg workout Erin's way, and I have to tell you, it's a different feel, and you can tack on more weights than using the free weights. I'm glad I finally decided to do them on the cable. I'm using it for now on. Thank you Erin!!!!
I did this today to change up my leg workout. Is it ever effective!!! I found it worked my upper body as well and forced me to maintain proper posture. I will be doing two leg days a week and will be incorporating this one along with Erin's dumbell leg workout. Both are very effective. 💖
I've recently started at a gym again and have been following a plan but there aren't many of the machines or equipment there so have had to use my imagination to tailor what I do for maximum effect/impact. I came across you with your physique and watched your videos which I'm going to try to incorporate into my gym sessions. I keep watching repeatedly so i can get it right as how your muscle definition is, is definitely what I personally would strive to achieve. Although I'm not too sure if I'm going to be able to reach that but i will try. I'd like to say thanks for sharing and inspiring people you are an inspiration 🙏😁

Quads, are a tough muscle to train only using one cable. It might require low anchors, setup on two cables, you standing in the middle in a few dynamic ways to get a meaningful quad workout. Love, this challenge. I'm not working with cables, but I am pairing up dumbbells and Strength BANDS. Pursuing "heavy" with bands and free weights have become a recent interest!
Ty for the cable squat suggestion!! I hate traditional squats because I had two back surgeries and it hurts my back. I have no pressure at all with this variation.
Really great. the only thing i am leaving out of my routine is the last workout (cable sumo squat) seems a little repetitive from cable squat with a different attachment, but this is just me. The routine is great.

My apt gym only has cable machine and dumbbell rack but I figured out how to use it, it’s amazing now! I really get it in on them cables
