This defense is very talented and well coached as you stated; but I have serious doubts about a Doug Pederson/Press Taylor led offense. This team rarely targeted the middle of the field last year, we've seen smart offensive coaching staffs like the 49ers, Rams, Vikings, Texans, Ravens, Packers, Dolphins, etc. spam that part of the field over and over again. It's literally the most efficient and effective part of the field to target, and the Jaguars (despite having a 6'6 QB who can see the entire field) rarely attacked it, that's a red flag. Doug and Press also misused Calvin Ridley last year, often times having run low percentage routes line up on the boundary against press man coverage, Ridley can win in that role but that's not a best use of his talents. You've already heard chatter about the Titans using him in the "Ja' Marr Chase" role, moving him around the formation, putting him in motion etc. to get him matched up against inferior CB's, that's how smart offensive coaches use their best WR's in today's NFL. The schematic issues are exacerbated but not having high end talent at receiver, Gabe Davis has never been a guy who creates separation against press man coverage (it's mind boggling that they pursued him so aggressively), Kirk & Engram are slot only options, and Brian Thomas is a raw rookie.
