Really, long term harassment, outright sabotage, and wrongful termination are just "a" mistake and supposed to be forgivable? In a civilized country, this is grounds for immediate termination and possibly multiple lawsuits from both the company and victim.
I've personally seen this many times, especially in sell outs to other companies and hatchet companies. The last company I was at, a top 500 IT company you would know the name of, destroyed everything withing the week after I left so they could get a golden parachute. What they didn't know was that the upper management already were warned and knew what was going on and cut the parachute after I left. 60 days later the facility was closed down and the greedy SOBs got nothing but a 2 week paycheck instead of millions like they would have.
In my experience of 30+ years as a programmer, it was expected and free labor. Salary employees get screwed, except the good old boys and the 304s, and you're supposed to just say thanks you sir may I have another.
@@colinmain7358 What happens when you are 98% finished with a project you are committed to have to a customer this week, but you have hit 48 hrs? Just tell them "too bad"? In America, we work the 52 hours necessary to finish and maybe take the next Monday afternoon off. Your inflexibility is bad.

Story composed by an ignorant brain, owning 50% shares of stock should elevate your position equivalent to the president, not the 9-5 employee, division of shares should be 49 against 51 % and the one who has the major shares occupy the leadership, managerial position should know who their busses are!
