Hey guys, in this video I faced the rank 5 global player while on my rank 1 push. I used Angela commander skill 2, he used Rya skill 1. There were many other meta synergies in this lobby as well. In the early game I was very unlucky. My plan after seeing the lobby was to play mage synergy. However both and kagura were both taken at the start. This made me very behind. I decided to stay mage as this would be the best synergy to face the common Rya nature spirit wm build. In the early game I tried my best to keep my economy up. I put in as many lancers as possible to lose health slowly. I wanted to level to 7 fast to look for kagura since I did not get her at the start of the game so I decided to take 25 gold rune at the first selection. Once I got kagura I stabilized and was able to win some rounds. I was very greedy and used northern vale to get extra gold and took a lot of extra damage because of that. I could have taken then out earlier to be safe. In the late game I decided to take out mystic bureau and go for 6/6 elementalist 6/6 mage 2/2 inferno. This is because against elf wm you need to have constant damage so they don't heal up. If I only had 3/6 elementalist it is very possible I get them 1 hp from first gord ult then they heal to full, then my gord ult again but its too late and I lose. With double gord ult you guarantee the elfs get taken down. This game was very strategic and I had to use positioning to make sure I had enough damage to take down elf + wm in the late game. Sorry bro for late reply. With Chou 1 I suggest astro + assassin. Use skill on lancelot early game, and when you get a 4 cost assassin switch it to them. Astro crystal goes on your best assassin. Chou 2 astro + assassin is also good, I also posted a video recently of lancer + quartermaster chou (late game you sell lancers for 5 cost units like gord/brody).
