    Venus's obliquity (axial tilt) is 177 degrees, which basically makes it upside down, due to this, that is what causes Venus to rotate the other way, it's simply just the odd obliquity

    • @hunkarun
      @hunkarun 2 ปีที่แล้ว +4

      Right but what caused this so called "odd" obliquity of Venus in the first place?

  • @kylehardaway

    I have a theory. Each of the planets orbiting the sun have a "companion" planet relatively the same in size and distance to the Sun. With the exception of Mars. There are nine planets, but Mars is missing its companion planet. What's in its place? An asteroid belt. What if the asteroid belt is really an obliterated planet? A force strong enough to destroy an entire planet could easily cause enough of a disruption to do a number of things to the solar system. One of which would be reversing the rotation of the planet Venus. The rotation direction of each planet was the same until one was missing. Without the gravitational pull from Mars' companion planet, the planets wouldn't last long in their orbit around the sun. Therefore, a reversed rotation of the planet Venus is enough to compensate for the gravitational pull of the missing planet, keeping Mars in its orbit and in sync with the other planets.

    I heard a theory a long time ago, about venus being the moon of the planet that now represent the asteroide belt! But 10 minutes ago i found out that venus circulaire orbit around the sun is the best of them all! And it blew out this theory, i think. I tought we had supercomputer able to predict the path and origin of each planet. We could save some time theorizing!

    It’s not because of planets rotation that we have day and night cycles, it’s just because of the rotation that days are so short. If earth didn’t rotate then one day would take a whole year. We would need to be tidally locked for there to be no day cycle.

    According to my perspective, Earth, the Moon, and Venus are all part of one planet that was divided into three parts due to a massive asteroid impact. I believe that a large asteroid collided with the planet, resulting in the formation of Earth, the Moon, and Venus. The absence of a moon for Venus is seen as a reason for the differences in its atmosphere compared to Earth. I propose that this impact also caused Venus to rotate in the opposite direction compared to most other planets.
    Please note that this is my personal perspective, and it may differ from widely accepted scientific theories. Scientifically, Earth and the Moon are believed to have formed through the Giant Impact Hypothesis, while Venus is thought to have formed through accretion. The specific scenario i described would require further calculations and simulations to assess its feasibility

    • @sgartistry1418
