Clearly, RC is not better for bumper to bumper traffic. In fact , save money and go with Gixxer or fz if you want to ride just in the city. But if your maximum travel is on highways then I strongly recommend RC. It's high speed stability is top notch. I have RC 390 and the confidence that you get on high speeds is just so strong. Moreover, your wrist won't pain if you ride it in a correct position. You are not supposed to put any weight on your wrist.

Actually RC is made for track racing. It will be a little bit difficult for you to ride a RC in city. But RC rules on track. And plus point of RC.... Aerodynamics that duke doesn't have... But if you are a person who love trips , mountain riding etc. I prefer you to go for. Duke B'cause of its better sitting portion unlike RC sitting position which will make your backbone, shoulders, wrist and palm pain .
Then we talk about it's weight . RC have a little bit much weight as compared to duke only because of its fairings. Top end of RC is much heavier than duke.
Cc replacement of both are same. Both machines have same power.
People who make arguments that duke is faster or RC is faster are fools. Both of bike have same power but are meant for different purposes.
If we talk about looks duke also have better looks but only due to fairings people run after RC.
Phillion seating problems arises more in RC in comparison to duke cause it has a better seating system than RC but RC's Phillion seat looks attractive.
You can carry more luggage on duke and less on RC.
And if you are going for one of this Ktm product. I personally prefer you to go for duke. B'cause a person sitting on a duke looks rider and a person sitting on a RC looks racer guy.that not always looks attractive.but sometimes.
And most importantly. Just imagine if by chance you crashed your RC then came the huge amount of fairings you have to pay for not in the case of duke.
I think it's enough for you to understand which machine is meant for you.

I can't say anything about this but ktm gives you warranty of 30K Kms and Yamaha gives in between 50 to 60K kms atleast for r15 v3
