I really dig the way the Otofon cartridges ride the record. It reminds me of like a dopeass space ships riding the groove. I know I got a big imagination. 😂🎉😂
Maybe run them under sink tap with cool water as the first step to flush off the junk. Mist and wipe is probably counterproductive. I'm with you on the rinse step - so many folks skip that, and it leaves residue film often times. Myself, it's sink rinse then Record Doctor VI which also leaves no residue
Before I ever rub anything on the surface I spray a little water with just a hint of dish soap and suck it up with a modified Bissell Little Green Machine wand.. works like a champ :)

i prefer to run them under my truck first, apply sandpaper, and enjoy :)

To remove larger contaminants, fingerprints/release agents/initial groove cleaning, deep groove contaminant removal, finally rinse then dry.
