You have a very calming and reassuring presence. Yesterday i got the news that my dog's kidneys are failing and I'm really sad right now. He's 16 years old so he's lived a very long life. I'm trying to find peace, so that i can treat our remaining months together as the gift it is, because it's not time to grieve yet. I think this was just the sort of message I need to hear today.
I'm so sorry. Tho older, that news is never easy to hear. Before my baby left, I collected locks of hair and recorded the sounds of her snoring, eating and drinking. I did things at my own pace. I'm so glad I can listen to her sweet sounds now. They also sell heart beat dopplers on Amazon and you can record your baby's heartbeat. I did that too If you're unaware, depending on where you live, there are in home euthanasia services. Honestly, one of the best decisions I've ever made in my entire life The week before our appointment, was honestly the best days we'd had together in years. The night before, my baby and I fell asleep snuggled in bed. For breakfast she had a bacon cheeseburger, vanilla cupcake and strawberry ice cream My mother, brother and aunt all came to give hugs and kisses Then, when it was time, my baby and I went outside and sat in the sun. It was only her, myself and the vet. It was the most peaceful feeling ever I can only hope to pass surrounded by so much love and yummy food Unconditional love is selfless. The greatest act of love is wanting the absolute best for someone and letting them go on without us if/when they need to. Letting go isn't giving up. It's the most selfless act of love I wish you peace in your heart, mind and soul. It sounds like your baby is truly loved and such a precious lil thing. I hope her kidney failure progression is slow and you have so much more time to happily be together Sending hugs 🤗
Trying to get some semblance of normality back. I just had emergency surgery on my spinal cord a week ago, and still suffering the symptoms of spinal decompression from the neck down. I haven't been able to hold my 5month old baby for two months, and probably won't be able to for another couple months. I feel like I'm not even a mother anymore, I'm so broken.
