Casting Networks is what my agents use mostly..curious as to why no mention of them here. 🤔
I recently watched an interview with two casting directors on a prominent TH-cam acting advice channel. Although they did mention actors Access, they must have brought up Casting Networks like four times. I see another comment from 5 months ago in the comment section here that also asks about Casting Networks. It's just too much for the average person to pay for multiple accounts.

Question, what platform do you recommend for acting AND singing? I recently took a workshop with Actors Access, and adding voice (singing not voiceover) or other talent jobs like dance was a BIG no-no to put on your resume. It is strictly an acting platform and other talents should just be placed over special skills and clips. Are Backstage and Casting Network my only options?

No, you need Actors Access to showcase your talent and resume to agents.

My question can come across as stupid but isn’t it frustrating to be asked to have at list of four speaking role in four different productions and formal full time training ideally graduate to enter spotlight ( which isn’t my case ) when all you want is to find castings and things to actually get what they are asking for?
I’m struggling finding castings that would provide me these credits. This experience they are asking for. The search is difficult because I was assuming that through spotlight you could build things on your own and find things to submit yourself to and gradually get more expérience bla-bla-bla but actually no.. frustration

Actually in a way it is modeling ,coming from a modeling background . it s not just our body posing but we use facial expressions and feelings as well to represent the mood.As tyra banks said,"smizing" which is an expression of being "fierce" which can be an example of a more serious headshot.
