I’m 41 divorced, been single for over 5 years. Dated after my divorce and it was horrible, I kept picking men that are not for me. I made a vow this year to abstain from sex until marriage. I know some might say I’m too old to make this vow but the hook up culture makes me sick. I pray and fast but I think I need to cross waters to meet someone, I trust Gods timing. This was such good teaching! Thank you, Pastor Ewing! What If your parents curse you and you are praying/renouncing! Also, I can see the patterns on both sides of my bloodline. Only one woman on my mom's side was married and the rest of the women had abusive relationships and were the "man in their relationship. Also, my father has destroyed a lot of homes in our life outside and many people wanted to curse us as children. I am combating this all but it seems like me and my sibling are encountering delays in marriage, finances, etc. Looking at my parents- we grew up in an abusive, argumentative, jealous, stagnation/poverty! household. I remember about 4yrs back when I had a lot of troubles in my life n was still ignorant n my aunt took me to a prophetess. I told her that I was constantly dreaming of dogs chasing me or biting me. Well she told me that I was involving myself in fornication n mind I I had spent about 3yrs without anyone in my life. I had no words
And let's be honest, we also curse ourselves as well :-( I need to pray these prayers. I don't have a sexual immortality issue, still a virgin, work in the community, educated twice, in my early 30s and usually not asked out or seriously considered to even date unless the guy has tried all the other girls and they all said no. It's like they either treat me like I'm only there for sex or the fallback girl that would suitable to take home to mommy if all the others they really want don't pan out. And I struggle to figure out why because I am a relatively nice person and look OK. But when I look at my family, most of the marriages never lasted. My parents were divorced. Their parents stayed married but when I hear stories about their marriage, one set of grandparents stayed together on the midst of an affair, and the other, the marriage just could have been better. The husband was far from being saved and they could have been nicer to each other; who knows he may have cheated to at the very beginning before they officially married since there were kids out of wedlock too. So although I haven't had these experiences, I attempted to date once and he just used me and tried to have sex with me and was a "Christian" born and raised. I wonder about the witchcraft thing.... Because it's alleged my grandma that statues married to my grandfather who definitely cheated and was living with the other woman, that she was into witchcraft but I could never find any proof. Yeah we are taught to seek a saved man but the reality is there aren't a lot of men who are already saved, I mean authentically saved! Lol I never had any good success with so called Christian men in dating anyways!
Thank you for sharing your story. It does sound like you are dealing with curses here. A fast (as directed by The Holy Spirit) and prayers can really help. God will show you in dreams/visions and tell you through reliable prophets. Keep praying, fasting, seek counselling and the support of good people. Indeed this only applies to SOME single people because people have negative things spoken over them and still have a successful godly marriage. For the record one first woman not Christian second woman I speak about claims to be christian. I work with a woman who’s been married twice who told me her mom abused her physically and mentally for years due to mental illness. I also know another woman who is married and was controlling. Jezebel’s and their children do get married. May not be a marriage that honors God but they get married.

This was such good teaching! Thank you, Pastor Ewing! What If your parents curse you and you are praying/renouncing! Also, I can see the patterns on both sides of my bloodline. Only one woman on my mom's side was married and the rest of the women had abusive relationships and were the "man in their relationship. Also, my father has destroyed a lot of homes in our life outside and many people wanted to curse us as children. I am combating this all but it seems like me and my sibling are encountering delays in marriage, finances, etc. Looking at my parents- we grew up in an abusive, argumentative, jealous, stagnation/poverty! household. Something is wrong and I am asking God to reveal it to me. This resonated with me so much!

Thank u pr. Kevin for enlightening us. I've learnt a lot since I started listening to your teachings. I remember about 4yrs back when I had a lot of troubles in my life n was still ignorant n my aunt took me to a prophetess. I told her that I was constantly dreaming of dogs chasing me or biting me. Well she told me that I was involving myself in fornication n mind I I had spent about 3yrs without anyone in my life. I had no words
And let's be honest, we also curse ourselves as well :-( I need to pray these prayers. I don't have a sexual immortality issue, still a virgin, work in the community, educated twice, in my early 30s and usually not asked out or seriously considered to even date unless the guy has tried all the other girls and they all said no. It's like they either treat me like I'm only there for sex or the fallback girl that would suitable to take home to mommy if all the others they really want don't pan out. And I struggle to figure out why because I am a relatively nice person and look OK. But when I look at my family, most of the marriages never lasted. My parents were divorced. Their parents stayed married but when I hear stories about their marriage, one set of grandparents stayed together on the midst of an affair, and the other, the marriage just could have been better. The husband was far from being saved and they could have been nicer to each other; who knows he may have cheated to at the very beginning before they officially married since there were kids out of wedlock too. So although I haven't had these experiences, I attempted to date once and he just used me and tried to have sex with me and was a "Christian" born and raised. I wonder about the witchcraft thing.... Because it's alleged my grandma that statues married to my grandfather who definitely cheated and was living with the other woman, that she was into witchcraft but I could never find any proof. Yeah we are taught to seek a saved man but the reality is there aren't a lot of men who are already saved, I mean authentically saved! Lol I never had any good success with so called Christian men in dating anyways!
Thank you for sharing your story. It does sound like you are dealing with curses here. A fast (as directed by The Holy Spirit) and prayers can really help. God will show you in dreams/visions and tell you through reliable prophets. Keep praying, fasting, seek counselling and the support of good people. Regardless of how people have treated you, Jesus has ALWAYS thought the world of you. He'll make it alright. God bless you!

Indeed this only applies to SOME single people because people have negative things spoken over them and still have a successful godly marriage. For the record one first woman not Christian second woman I speak about claims to be christian. I work with a woman who’s been married twice who told me her mom abused her physically and mentally for years due to mental illness. I also know another woman who is married and was controlling. Jezebel’s and their children do get married. May not be a marriage that honors God but they get married.
