Hello! I am wanting to purchase this but cannot seem to download moog editor librarian. Has moog discontinued? I am register my subsequent 37 but getting no luck on downloading Mac version? Please help
Great video! And great presets! Any preset made for sub 37 can be loaded into a subsequent 37? And oposite? Or you always need a differrnt file made it specifically for each synth...so no share possible... Thanks
Agonizing over the Sub25 vs Sub37, mostly for bass sounds, and especially for live performance (I'm also a pro bassist). Which do you think is best sounding of the two for low end sound?! They seem to sound a LITTLE different, despite the names being similar.
I didn't make A/B comparison, but I think they sound similar. The differences are in features. For basic sounds, basses in particular, Sub25 can be enough. For extra features, modulations, presets memory and so on - then Sub37. I'd say Subsequent 37 is the best analog monophonic synth.
I had a Sub25, the sound is spectacular, the real estate is limited, so I’m expanding to the Sub37 to get another octave for slides, longer glissando, octave playing etc..I’m certain the Sub25 does all these things, I didn’t find it to be musical (hitting octave button all the time) in live performance situations. Enjoy! Fresh indeed 😉
Amazing sounds! Whats your signal path in this video to record this sounds? Straight ti the audio interface or are you using any other devices (software or hardware) such as comoressor, fx etc...
@@AntonAnru thanks for being so kind to answer so fast. I asked because your demo sound so 3D...other demos I've heard on TH-cam using this same subsequent 37 model sounds less hardwareish if that make sense. Again, great sound!

yes, I guess it's possible to get similar results on Matr (but not 100% of course, as the feature are different). I don't have a pdf-file, but you may upload these patches to Subsequent Editor and see all the parameters on your screen

Yes, it's directly to the interface. I added vst delay and reverb

Can this preset communicate with sub37 and subsuguent37?
yes, the presets made for sub/subsequent 37
blobby likes bass but cant deciede on this synth or a prohet rev 2
If you need poly, then the choice is easy. But for mono sub37 is the best
