- Calm Before the Storm | SONY FX30
In June I went on a road trip to the Pacific Northwest. Our first day of camping, we went to Summit Lake in Mt. Rainier and slept in a rainstorm. Here is the calm before the storm.
Please leave a comment on your favorite National Park!
Shot on FX30
Tamaron 17-70mm
Edited and colored in DaVinci Resolve
Music: Gavin Bryars - Jesus' Blood Never Failed Me Yet (1975)

Awesome video man! Colors look great
Just purchased the FX30, and I am waiting for it to come in.
I have a Komodo but really need something smaller & faster for projects like this one you shot!
If it’s good enough, I might even dump the Komodo.
How has your experience been with it so far?
Wow man it was so good🎉
@@vikasrawat7880 thank you so much 🙏
amazing shots, splendid colors, keep going man :)
That means so much to me thank you!
Great work - did you use cineprint, or something else for the color?
@@rectangulardots I use film vision! It’s incredibly intuitive. I love it 🙌
@@AdvertiseReality Thanks for letting me know! :)
I really love this. I want to make stuff like this
If you do please let me know!!
How was it over there? The Pacific Northwest is one of my most anticipated travel destinations. Grand job on this film, stunning visuals and colorgrading.
@@ciaranscl thank you! I absolutely loved it and highly suggest doing a roadtrip to the national parks in that area!! By far the most beautiful nature I’ve been 🤟
Awesome video. You should get more subscribers for your creativity.
@@Mraz75 that means a lot! Consistency is key I guess 😁
@@AdvertiseReality yes it is.. but you have art in your heart. That makes your video special.
What a vibe, you created an atmosphere, can I ask you if you were recording S-Log3? Sorry for the tech question, I've got a Fx30 too
I love the tech questions! I do shoot in S-Log 3 🤟
@@AdvertiseReality Thank you man, hope the best in your path
This is epic
Thanks bro!! 🤟
同じカメラを使ってるとは思えない、、かっこいいです!
fire
Thanks Marcel!!
Needs more likes
@@SawaiFilms haha thank you 😊
Wow
Thank you bro!!
How do you make that square have 4k, like you exported it?
You have to change the timeline resolution in the software you use before exporting! In DaVinci there is an Image Scaling option so make sure you have it on "Full frame with crop" so you don't get the black bars on your video!
how do you get that film grain and color?
Lots of tweaking and little techniques but I love this plugin called Film Vision 2!! It can be as simple or as complex as you want it to be! Hope this helps 🤟
@@AdvertiseReality thanks
@@AdvertiseReality ty shit majestic
This is so beautiful! Show us how you color grade 🥲… My favorite national park is Joshua Tree 🌵
@@amberanayat maybe I’ll make a video 😁
