It's hard to say anything bc you didn't get to know all members but I'll give a first guess and say D.O. since you liked him in tempo and wait till you find out that he has a Spanish song in his solo and sang spanish multiple times , and other guess is chen since you remembered him from monster and you liked him in obsession
I'd say Chen because you have pointed him out in Monster and in Obsession both because of vocals and because of his visuals, but since you still don't know the others and their names it could be difficult to tell

So, the reason why EXO use distortion in their voices in many songs is because of their concept. EXO is actually the first kpop group to have an storyline, and probably is the most complicated of all.
EXO are aliens with superpowers ( in obsession you can clearly see them use theirs) that came to earth to protect us from the evil of the red forces that want to destroy the tree of life and take exo's powers. In Tempo the red force is represented with the red cubes and I obsession by their evil clones ( exo is the one wearing black and their clones, X-EXO the ones in bright colors and crop tops)
The distorted voices represent the red forces.
Even before Obsession, from the very beginning actually, there are songs with heavy distortion but we only found out thanks to obsession the meaning behind it. EXO storyline is not linear, their tale jumps between videos and fans work hard to put it together and make it make sense.
In their solo stuff and subunits their concept play a heavy role as well. They represent their superpowers in the Choreographies and the concept is also present in Lyrics of songs. So sometimes each song can mean something if you think in romantic way and totally something different if you see them though their concept. Like monster, it seems at first glance a very toxic love relationship but it can also mean a fighting song against the red forces. Obsession and Jekyll ( from the same album) is practically a conversation between EXO and their alter egos / clones X-EXO.
I would like to recommend you to maybe check 1 song from each member so you can recognise them better, or at least see how different their voices are:
Suho ( our Leader): Grey Suit
Lay ( our Chinese sheep) Lose Control ( I like that one but many may reccomend Lit)
Xiumin ( our oldest member his stage name is pronounced like Shoe min, and now in September he is having his solo debut, so I recommend you his enlistment song*) You

Chen ( the one that have the highest notes in obsession and Monster. Our happily married with 2 children boy) Beautiful Goodbye
Chanyeol ( the Rapper you correctly recognised in obsession, he is the second Rapper in Tempo and the voice behind the doom doom doom in tempo. He is returningfrom the military the 28 of September) Break your box, Nothing, Tomorrow ( he is my bias so I love every song if his)
D.O ( the one that you want to adopt. Our rnb angel) I guess his Spanish version "Si fueras mia" but also Rose, his solo debut.

Sehun ( our baby. He has only one official song and is part of his subunit ) On me
On me and Chanyeol's nothin mv are short and you miss half song if you only watch those.

EXO is worth listening to every song.
El fandom se llama EXO-L ( separado) "L" representa amor(Love) y cuando exo debutó estaban separados en 2 grupos con 6 miembros cada uno EXO-K cantaban en Koreano, y EXO-M en Mandarin chino. La L es la letra entre K y M por lo que los fan es la conexión entre los dos. Cuando 3 miembros chinos dejaron el grupo EXO dejó de estar separado en EXO-K y EXO-M y se convirtió en EXO. Sin embargo ahora también tenemos 2 subunits: EXO-SC (Los 2 rápidos Sehun y Chanyeol) y EXO-CBX ( formado por Chen, BaekHyun y Xiumin)
La canción en español del grupo ( sólo 4 de ellos la cantan: nuestro Líder Suho, D.O, BaekHyuny Chanyeol, quien toca la guitarra durante la canción) es un cover cuando estuvieron en México de la canción "sabor a mi" de Luis Miguel.
D.O canta en su álbum "Si fueras mia" tiene un version en coreano y en español.

lo que más me gusta de tempo es que dice "don't mess on my tempo" y justamente juega con eso, el tempo es distinto a cada momento y lo acapella es lo mejor del mundo cuando se trata de EXO.

Tempo desde el día que la escuché es cosa diaria obligatoria escucharla al menos 2 veces, porfavor cuando puedas reacciona a baekhyun como solista es de lo mejor vocalmente en al Kpop, tiene un estilo muy r&b, jazz y así

Okay the one in Obsession that has curly hair or at some points has these wavy hair and does the high note is Chen. You have mentioned that he's handsome or beautiful in Monster too if I remember correctly when he was in a hallway with other people. He's also the one that did the high note before the rap part in Monster (but he didn't do the last high note, that was Baekhyun). Chen in Tempo is the one harmonizing with the rapper Sehun too. He had blond hair in Tempo.
The one you mentioned with dark hair is adorable D.O. or Kyungsoo (most people call him by his real name not stage one)
The fandom name is EXO-L where L stands for love and is between K and M in the alphabet. That's important because when EXO debuted they were split into two sub groups EXO-K that promoted in Korea and EXO-M that had the same songs but in Mandarin and promoted in China. So K+L+M 💞
They became one 9-member group they are now after three Chinese members left the group.
This is why if you get comments to react to What Is Love, History or their debut MAMA (along with some other early ones) I suggest watching both versions of the songs because you won't see or hear three of the members - Chen being one of them 💞

Mi favorito es Chen, el que hace casi siempre las notas altas. Tiene un rango de voz altísimo, además Baekhyun y D.O. también son parte de las Maravillas vocales del grupo, además todos tienen voces increíbles, desde el rapero Chanyeol hasta el bailarjn principal, Kai.

Hola, sobre lo que comentas al final aciertas. El reparto de lineas en EXO es bastante aleatorio, según la canción dominan unos u otros. Cuentan con vocales de varios rangos así que en aras de una perfecta armonización ajustan los tiempos. Tienen muchas canciones en las que no participan todos, solo algunos miembros. En 'Obsession' por ejemplo faltan dos que estaban en el servicio militar en ese momento y el integrante chino por problemas de agenda/varios. En 'Tempo' están todos aunque la 'presencia' del integrante chino es un añadido, no pudo estar por el mismo motivo.
Estos chicos tienen una discografia muy amplia, entre albumes, Ep's, singles, trabajos en solitario, en duo, en trio, OST, colaboraciones etc... suman más de 200 títulos. Aparte cultivan varios géneros y experimentan muchísimo. Estás conociendo sus canciones más promocionadas que los identifican, pero opino que la gran fortaleza de EXO son sus canciones 'soft' donde los vocales se explayan a gusto. Dentro de esa clasificación se encuentran canciones con tintes de Jazz-R&B y/o Urban muy emocionales y otras más Pop, merece la pena que te pongas una lista tranquilamente en tu casa mientras lees/estudias. El cantante que te gusta se llama chen, la gran mayoría del fandom de exo lo ama y lo respeta. Pero los demás no tanto, desde que hizo su vida y hoy en día tiene esposa y dos hijos. Lo que pasa es que la gente piensa que Chen o cualquier Idol es solamente de ellos y esa obsesión llega a este tipo de cosas. Hace poco hubo un mini concierto de exo y Chen se le veía nervioso al cantar aparte de que le hicieron un gran vacío a comparación de los demás integrantes.

Bueno pues la última canción del álbum se llama "Butterfly Effect" y está dedicada a los fans y cantada desde el lado "bueno" de Exo, y las letras finales de esta canción dice "no desaparezcas" 🤍

D.O. released his first solo album last year which included a full Spanish track, SI FUERAS MIA. I hope you could react to it in the future.
EXO has a massive and diverse discography that is the best, if not the best, in all of K-Pop. I hope you could visit their pre-debut and debut tracks, WHAT IS LOVE, HISTORY and MAMA, respectively. This group had always been amazing!
