Suity LaLa Some Indian video weddings I have seen are way over done and to long, they focus on all the expensive cars during half the video in slow motion!

PenWeddings Thanks for the reply. I would not have guessed you used mainly the Miii. I was convinced you were using some higher end equipment, so that is another compliment lol You must really have your settings and lighting down pat.
John Cirillo jr Hi John. We always mic the groom and officiant. Usually the groom's mic will pick up the bride as well. Sometimes, mostly for outdoor weddings, we will mic the bride as well. The recorder is hidden in a strap around her thigh and the microphone is clipped or taped inside her dress.

Thanks Sebasatien! Yes we use a small Sony recorder with a lav mic plugged in to it.

Khalid Alvi Our main lenses are the Canon 70-200 2.8 IS II and the Tamron 24-70 2.8 VC. We also use a Canon 100mm macro 2.8 IS and Canon 16-35 2.8 II.

Thanks! We did recently switch to the Sony A7s, but just in late July. Everything before then, all the way back to Jan 2012, was Mk iii.
