13:16 mac not understanding greek letters and making engine noises over it instead is like so unironically funny i think i laughed way more than i shouldve
Every toy/product that has ever existed during my childhood felt like psychedelic fever dreams that either gave me terrifying everlasting nightmares that would haunt me at every turn or nostalgic memories that seemed more fun at the time than they do now. There is literally no in between.
Probably one of the most normal toys but Baby Alive now will give me the creeps if I ever had one lying around from when I was younger. I never got to have one but now I'm kinda glad I didn't.
Mighty Beanz, Bakugan, and Hexbugs made up an embarrassing amount of my childhood, especially mighty beanz. They ended up being banned by my school at one point and we even had black market trades in the bathrooms lmao
@@itz_grass5890 my gosh bro!! I remember Zuzupets!! There was also a whole thin at my school where it had a Littlest Pet Shop trade phase as well as with marbles and they also had a sticker trading phase too
When I was in middle school my friend group had one of these that looked a little bit like bob the builder and we worshipped this bean and would trade him around, one day Bob fell into the cracks of the lockers and we were DISTRAUGHT. We launched into an intense rescue mission and eventually managed to get him out, and I remember we were so happy we all collaborated on a massive mural on poster board with the Bob bean as an angel in the middle.
One time I was laughing in my sleep so my husband woke me up and asked what was so funny. I just said "do you remember jumpin' beans?" Before laughing and falling back asleep. I found out the next morning he had never heard of them. He was so concerned and confused
Mexican Jumping Beans are a thing! Though they're actually moth larvae in seed pods, which causes the beans to actually jump. Eventually if you're lucky, you'll get some moths out of it, though they don't live long.
Hi Mac my name is TJ and I’ve been watching you since I was in middle school. I used to watch you at night on my school chrome book. One time in 7th grade history class I opened my chrome book and your video played and it was you screaming “PUSSAAAAYYYYY!!!”. I didn’t get in trouble but it helped me gain awareness. Thank you for helping me improve as a person.
Man! I had toy bans specifically from a classroom. My first grade class went crazy for some McDonald's Winnie the Pooh bag clips. Just our class wasn't allowed to have them at school. Kids in other classes could, just not ours.
my brother had one of those! don't remember much about it. other than recalling it stinking of rubber. i don't think i was very fond of it as a kid haha
You've unlocked such a memory for me 😂 I don't remember ever specifically wanting Mighty Beanz, but my parents definitely got me some at some point. And maybe they were hand-me-down toys, but I had too many - more than I probably should've had. 😅
I still have my might beans. I loved them because they were so creepy looking. They are useless at the end of the day, but I keep for memory sake. 🥰🙂 Awesome video as always, my dude! Hope you're doing okay 💖❤🧡💛💚💙💜🤎🖤
I remember seeing the Mighty Beans and I always thought that if I had these toys I'd lose them because they're so tiny and one day I'd accidently step on one of them and it'd hurt like hell, lol.
I was definitely 20 13 years ago but I’d love to see you try the Mindflex toy. Even 19/20 year old me was like “what is this witchcraft??”. It’s a toy where you navigate a ball through an obstacle course and the fans in the obstacle course are supposed to interact with your brainwaves. Freaking crazy.
a good toy to review would be hex bugs, because i think they got desperate at one point when everyone grew up and made some insane spider hex bug or something idk
I had Might Beanz and yea they were definitely slimmer than the ones you have. More capsule shaped. They were a toy to knock around a little and trade but that was really it. Also these were clearly a choking hazard.
In the same style of useless collectable toys was crazy bones, idk why i was so into those cause they weren't even being sold when I was a kid. I just kinda found one at a garage sale and made it my personality for a month
These things sometimes show up when I’m trying to sleep and I close my eyes and they blur in such a way that it makes me nauseous and have vertigo with random squares of white popping up until I open my eyes and re center myself. Great stuff 10/10
❤😂 Probably my favorite retro toy review yet! Thank you so much for our much needed laughs. 🎉 P.S. From now on any talk of any kind of 'ussy in a video should be cut with the Mighty Bean commercial clip. 😂
I had these as a kid!!! I actually worried that something alive was inside of them so I'd try to break them open to "save" whatever creature was trapped inside of them lmao
7:39 it’s like what they do for all the little collectible things like Shopkins and all that kind of stuff it’s like so you can check off which ones you have and see which ones you can have
The languages are, I believe: English, Italian, Spanish, Greek, and Romanian. I only speak a little of some of them so they could be wrong, Spanish could be Portuguese and Romanian could be Turkish but it's my best guess. Definitely Greek tho, not Russian, the alphabets are similar (Vs like english) but a bit different.
When I was in 2nd grade my teacher had like a three foot bean shaped case/folder or hold all her mighty beans. It was HUNDREDS and they were all pop culture references.
This reminds me of Crazy Bones. I think you played a kind of marbles game with them but they were definitely another one of those collectable toys they tried to get kids into. They didn't even do anything but my goblin brain wanted all of them.
Oh god... I think we had 2 of them. We also got these ones with feet that we were gonna use for the Tech Decks. Those things fell apart & my mom glued her finger to one of the feet while trying to fix it.
I dont think no one had noticed it but im very impressed on how much mac research about these toys like, if i ever need a research im messaging mac for notes.
OMG I remember Mighty Beans!!! My parents got these for me and my sister around 2010/2011-ish. I completely forgot about this toy existed before clicking on your video! Thank you for a Childhood memory unlocked, Mac 😂
The early 2000s were a fever dream, and I know I was very young and don't remember everything but still like even older folks say it was a weird time 🫡
I ALWAYS WANTED THESE AS A KID. EVER SINCE MY DAYCARE HAD IT. I had to watch this, and him trying to read the french, as someone who can speak french is just funny!
As a French person, seeing Mac trying to read the instructions in french on the package is just hilarious
😂
I'm not french but I do speak it and I can understand what you mean lmao
My condolences. I hope you get well soon.
Je pense que son accent a causé une hémorragie interne dans le vide abismal qu'est mon crâne
As a French speaker, I second that

It got me too 😂
i live for him reading shit in other languages. iconic.
Lol I was watching this part and came to the comments to find these types of comments lol
i think the other one is polish
also being convinced its russian
I love how when you took them out of the package they grouped together like they were scared of you
The ASMR with the "wear a condom, kids" and "make sure your wife is asleep, stud" in brackets killed me 😭😭😭😭 Mac's comedic genius stays unmatched
And following it up with “ oh that turned you on” took me out

yeah...the early 2k kids got the weirdest fuckin toys possible
from the furbies to the zuzu pets

i'm definitely buying the one i had as a kid on ebay asap. i've started using fidget toys a lot for stress and boredom relief!

Mac: "I didn't do that much research"
Also Mac: says every detail about how these toy beans were created for over 3 minutes
One time I was laughing in my sleep so my husband woke me up and asked what was so funny. I just said "do you remember jumpin' beans?" Before laughing and falling back asleep.
I found out the next morning he had never heard of them. He was so concerned and confused
I died when he tried reading the last language on the package (it's my main language, Turkish). I felt so famous for a sec.
EVET.
Please play with that toxic goop in a tube that you use to blow bubbles with a small plastic straw. (Bloonies)
PLEASE
YES YES YES
I thought they had flavour☠
I thought he did this? 😅
I got that once and it smells like straight up chemicals
I will NEVER get tired of Mac's 2000 toy videos, they are my LIFE.
Keep it up Mac, love your chaotic energy!
The fact that Mac wants to take care of us while trying to turn us on and then shaming us is funny AF.

They were, for sure, smaller. Maybe they thought they were a choking hazard. They were called beanz, and you eat beans.
