As a seasoned hockey fan, i can tell a homer announcer as soon as he opens his mouth. This guy is certified Bruin for Brains.

what made me mad at the sharks was in the 3rd period mcavoy was literally sitting on top of mikael granlund, not wanting to get off of him and no other sharks came to help. this team sucks ik but at least have your teammate’s back god damn.

As a Canucks fan, glad to see the Sharks playing with some spirit. In the first game we played against them, Kuzmenko made unintentional contact with their goalie's head as he scored. The Sharks should have had an instant reaction just on principle, but instead, silence. That's not the same team that's playing tonight. They've played progressively better as the season goes on and as underdogs it's pretty easy to cheer for them.
We were an unbelievable mess then. We still are a mess but they boys are at least working through it

If you want to learn something, try paying attention to the Smith boarding hit. He clearly saw numbers the whole way in. Not only did he have a shit ton of time to stop, but he made the decision to make the hit while looking at the numbers.
Watch the Smith hit; textbook boarding and then the McAvoy hit. Repeat until you see the difference. Dont stop until you see it.

I'm disappointed that I didn't get to hear Jack Edwards complain that it's "open season on Marchand." As far as the rest of the league outside of Boston is concerned, the league doesn't crack down on Marchand hard enough for the slew foot jobs, such as the can opener he did on Liljegren earlier in the season. The cross check in the back into the boards was dangerous, but this is what happens when the league lets players get away with stuff.

How stupid are fights in the NHL today ? Why don't these players mutually drop the buckets and Visors before the fight ? They will each receive an additional 2 minutes but save their knuckle from real damage and it makes for a better fight.
Jack Edwards has such a great voice...and he speaks so slowly I just can't do it. I did catch part of the game(Shark's feed for sanity) and it looked like a feisty bout as so many have been with the Bruins this year.
