- Pokémon Ultra Sun and Ultra Moon have long been considered the hardest mainline Pokémon games to Nuzlocke! Surely adding 2 out of practice trainers and linking their Pokémon's souls together will make it easier! Join myself and my good friend Sacred as we embark on an Alolan adventure that neither of us are fully prepared for, as we try to make our way through all 4 islands without losing our cool, or our Pokémon!

★ RULES ★
-Only one Pokémon can be caught per area, and we can only catch the first Pokémon we encounter in that area.
-Each encounter is paired with each other making them "soul linked"
-If one person fails to catch their encounter or knocks it out, the other person forfeits the encounter as well.
-Cannot catch a duplicate of any Pokémon.
(Dupes/Species clause)
-
If a Pokémon faints in battle it is classified as DEAD and must be boxed
for the remainder of the run.
-If one of our Pokémon fall in battle, it's linked partner will activate it's "Last stand clause" where it can fight as if it is still alive until the end of the battle, where it is then considered dead.
-
Will be limiting healing items to only 3 per fight.
(If one of us lose a Pokémon during battle, the 3 healing items will be refreshed)
-The battle mode is set to SET.
-My Pokémon's levels can not exceed the level of the next Gym leader’s
highest Pokémon.
-If I white out/black out, the run is OVER
-All wild Pokémon can call allies
-Can decide to take called ally for encounter
-Force fully evolved trainer Pokémon at lvl 35
-If one persons Pokémon in a soul link is put in the PC or knocked out than the other linked Pokémon must follow/share the same fate
-Randomized fossils can be used as an extra encounter in the route the 2nd fossil half was found (both players will need to find 1 fossil for this to come into effect)
Typing rules:
-No repeat of primary types across both parties (1 Pokémon pair may break this rule however)
-No pair may share the same primary typing
-Flying Pokémon may have either of their typing declared for their primary. (since every flying type Pokémon has flying as secondary rather than primary typing)

Fun fact that most people forget about: you can run into a wild battle to pre poison that Arcanine, then take off the toxic orb and give it a regular item like leftovers or Z Fire and just not heal the poison in between battles

That Mewtwo totem fight had me worried, ngl. The fact that you only lost one mon is wild. Great job on making it through that.
The decision to focus Tynamo probably saved the Locke lowkey. That plus 6 special attack was looking VERY scary. Great battle, Skull!
Damn never thought we'd be in a situation where tynamo was more dangerous than a mewtwo but hey thats just how it goes, giving u all the luck for the elite four, you've got this and deserve it when u do win
As someone who’s favorite pokemon ever is Scizor, I meed to speak on technician. A) it boosts moves of 60 base power or less. And more importantly B) once the move’s base power is boosted over 60, technician no longer effects it, for example fury cutter. It gets technician off the bat but if you keep using it and it boosts itself over 60, it only gets the moves internal boost and technician no longer does anything. This is the only time i’m going to know-it-all on anything. Love you guys. Keep it up. And hey, if you every want to name a Scizor Geo in the future, go for it.
I know Joey said this as a joke but honestly leaving in all of your training arcs and stuff that you cut would be cool if you used that footage to talk and make it like a podcast. And add in timestamps to where you’d normally cut. I usually just leave this running while I work so I am sure some people would enjoy this. Food for thought at your joke

Blood. Our trainers are taking on the island captains once again. Illiama is an explosion of feelings. After some scare and some happiness destiny bond takes out mega Gyrados. After rebuilding their team with a new pair they take on the next captain. Malla gets baited out of her Z move. TWICE. What a clown. Either way she’s pretty easy and breezy outside Giratina. Next battle they take on Kiawi. A mistake on types almost leads to J rocks demise. After Kiawe David wants in on some fun and gets obliterated. Does the extra fight red petal mark a spark of luck or death. Probably death because the knicks lost during the recording. As a half Yorker myself it sucks. Anyways Joey hacks his way through Sophocles’s trial. Also Frozen Joey got me shivering. It’s a pretty easy road for Skull and onto Nanu they go. By they I mean Joey. Or should I say Throwy…. It starts with a little bit of an unlucky crit then moves on to just giving Necrozma to the graveyard. A little sketchy golurk fight goes a little south but they bring it back. Joey goes a magnitude away from death. Joey gets a little ptsd after the dragon tail switching. After beating out the captain Our trainers can almost taste the elite four, but will they make it? Why not put the metronome item on Arceus? It helps echoed voice ramp up even more and doesn't lock you in like choice specs does.

49:22 I feel like Gen 7 might be one of the last great generations with FANTASTIC signature move animations. I feel like Sw/Sh and S/V just keep the models STIFF WITH RIGOR MORTIS and just move the png of the Pokémon on top of the opposing mon and bash them together to simulate fighting lol… plus Dyna/Gigantmaxing and Terastalizing just don’t have the same flash as a Z-move or mega evolution

Joey over here spreading misinformation again. Recover had 10 PP. GEN 1-3 = 20, 4-8 = 10, 9 = 5. Always make sure to look up move sets in the generation they are based on, as moves change from generation to generation quite frequently. Also, Aerilate is definitely better. Yes, you would get 50% increase with Stab, but Frisk doesn't do anything really. Sure, you might learn about a berry or something they're holding onto, but you don't take their item. I understand that the damage boost from the ability is less than STAB, but it gives you another move that can hit super effective, which is twice the boost of STAB, and normal type attacks can never hit for super effective.
Either way, you got this! Surely you don't wipe on the very last battle! 😉 ❤

Also joey, i had to google how much PP recover had because i know with Scarlet and violet, they reduced ALL self healing moves' PP down to 5/max of 8 with PP ups but i wasnt aware of their pp before gen 9. And from gen 1-3 Recover is in fact 20pp. However, from generation 4 and beyond its 10/16 with pp ups, until Scarlet and violet nerfed self healing moves down to 5 (moves like roost, shore up, recover, slack off, lunar blessing, and rest)....regardless, 10pp recover + +3 spdef boosted + tynamo paralysis hax + psycho cut crits on top of all that was an insanely rigged fight, and its crazy skull made it out with only 1 loss. The improvement is really showing now
