I remember being 8 listening to this song, scaring people driving on the street in the dead of night, stargazing on the grass, letting go of all stress & just enjoying being a child. I’m not much older, 12,7 to be exact, yet so much has changed, I’m always busy, I hate school yada yada. I miss being a child, everyone is on there phone, busy with growing up so quickly. I wish I could go back, enjoy myself, my friends before they became phone addicts, my dog Balou & being stress free, not a worry in the world. If you read this, don’t be like the others, you are allowed to be different. don’t be on your phone all the time, enjoy your friends & family while you still have them. And don’t try & grow up fast, your only a child once, and it’s amazing! Everything might seem stressful & I get it, the internet might be the only place you feel safe but, once summer arrives, enjoy laying on the warm grass with the sun low In the sky, small stars appearing. Just let go for awhile. Remember you can still be a child, even if you are a teenager, adolescent, ext. Love: Maya.
