Brother, social media hijacks everyone’s expectations when it’s nowhere close to reality because anyone can curate their lives into looking perfect. Nothing beats happiness being grounded in reality and living for ourselves

Fully agreed, I do think there's a small portion of people who are truly living 'exceptional' lives -- but it's so rare, I feel like average people are just being ignored.
Glad you related to the video brother!

I love your take on confidence, and the way emphasize being proud even if what you said was dumb/wrong/cringey etc. if it was THE BEST YOU HAD.
It sounds like our life paths have differed in a lot of ways, but I think the struggle with putting yourself out there and accepting yourself, warts and all is universal. Social situations is a good example, but in the case of something like a new job or studies that fear of failure is just can be just as pervasive. But the alternative - avoiding the pain, or the possibility of it - is MUCH worse.
Also yea, fuck those influencer entrepreneurs. Social media in general can really flare up a lot of those self-comparison issues.
There's positive messages like yours out there, but also a lot of potentially toxic things. And unfortunately I think the algorithms tend to prefer the latter.
Either way, I'm glad you've found your way forwards. Solid video, definitely made me stop and think.

It's about meeting yourself where you're at, my eyes were always on next, next, next - I lost myself bro. I think the algorithms prefer other stuff too, but as long as at least some people see this video and feel reassured - I'm gonna keep putting my thoughts out there.
Thanks for the kind words brother.

This is really eye opening and has made me think about self-fulfilment rather than trying to be ‘exceptional’. Looking forward to more videos brother.

@SolomonDarbey I related to the majority of it. I exited the mental matrix a while back but before I did I was constantly comparing myself to society's norms and chasing materials objects which I have now realised is actually a mediocre and average mindset in itself. There is not a soul on this planet I want to compare myself to and I believe once that mindset is found you can conquer anything. Now my only competitor is myself and he's a hard man to compete with as I strive to make myself 1% better everyday with just small steps and actions. I Loved the message and how far you have come, nuff love ❤.

Facing and then accepting reality, sounds like something you've achieved. Many never do. Keep at it. Next comes voluntarily acquiring responsibilities, and recognising opportunities - I expect you'll do great. Putting it out on TH-cam is perhaps part of accepting yourself. Nothing here to be ashamed of, man.

There's so much more I feel I can say to help people that want better for themselves and either don't know how, or know how, but don't feel capable.
Honestly you're bang on, I actually have a video idea planned to talk about the nerves of even making and posting a video at all, and how I took action and what I learned from it.
Thanks for the response mate, glad you liked the vid.

Great video, keep up the good work, accepting yourself is so important, Self improvement is a long journey it starts by accepting yourself, everyone starts somewhere but it’s always possible to get better, but you should not compare yourself to others, comparison is the thief of joy, if you want to improve yourself start at your own pace and slowly work your way up don’t look at others, if you have a good life and want to stay the same it’s fine, since it’s your life your decisions if your content and happy with it that’s amazing. Love the video man 🖤

The way you're talking about it, is like it's something you either have or you don't have.
I see it a little differently, it's probably worth me making a video explaining it as I feel a lot of people misunderstand it.
Thanks for the compliment too ❤️
