I ordered "The Ones I Condemn" from Brazil when it came out. Was surprised just how good it was. Many bands that came back and made an album fell short of their glory days. Not Sacrifice. Never had a weak album and can't wait for this one to drop!
@joerico1 yes. Sacrifice was definitely one of my favorite thrash bands in the 80s. I had a complete wall in my bedroom painted with Sacrifice in the old logo style. I think this new song is great.
@@RebornThroughHatewith Hell Awaits 2 albums that were capturing some realy evil energy .the horrible productions and mix blended perfectly with the atmosphere. I love crushing production on TOIC but Torment in Fire has that haunting energy in it and is among best thrash albums ever made.
Vocals,riffs, solo, breaking into fast thrashing - checked ! Sacrifice is back ! That cover is cherry on the top. What an awesome piece of art ! T-shirt needed.
Nothing surprised me like this since the 90s. I must admit that Kerry King band, KK Priest and the band Hell did awesome job in these recent years keeping metal alive. Cheers from Morocco
@@joerico1 obviously I'm not the right person to speak about times and people who were actualy knewing each other and shaped the scene back then, but doesn't Sacrifice pre date Chuck's music? People are comparing it to Chuck/Death/Mantas but the Exorcism demo is among biggest influences on Tampa DM scene. That's mentioned in numerous interviews by OG's of DM scene. Cannibal Corpse cover of Sacrifice cover is perfect btw.

The first half suffers from what I call "ADX - Sacrifice in The Ice" syndrome. Someone posted on a video for that song change the playback speed to 1.25x and ya for that song and this song it just works better up tempo, this song more so. I love that song and this one is good, but ya trying it out, personally this works so much better with the first half being faster....... Welcome back guys xP. I am looking forward to hearing the rest of the album.
similar song structure as The Great Wall . no need to speed it up, it is exactly how song building to the chaos at the end needs to be done. Sacrifice are champions at this.
